Our home is a beautifully remodeled and charming two bed, two bath situated in the perfect area. We just added a brand new heated pool/spa covered with a lanai to keep out the bugs.
The home is on a quiet, tree lined street. A quick 10 minute drive to Siesta Key Beach (consistently rated #1 beach in the US) and a 10 minute drive to downtown Sarasota. Great restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. Everything that you need for a comfortable, convenient stay is waiting here for you.
This 1950's Florida ranch home has been completely updated from terrazzo floors to a new roof. The decor is coastal chic with a modern yet classic beach feel. For sleeping there are two large queen beds and a day bed for reading/relaxing.
There is also a new fenced in backyard for your privacy.

This is our 2nd time staying here and it has been amazing both times. Great communication and response from host. Love the pool and hot tub, neighborhood is excellent. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling here.

Great location, excellent owner. I look forward to staying again, be it for business again or pleasure. They were finishing up the pool/hot tub in the back yard when I stayed, and that element will really put the final touches on this listing.

We had a lovely quite relaxing week on Marshall Dr. The home is clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed . The new pool area is a spectacular place to relax and soak up the sun. Molly the property manager was helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely rent this beautiful home again.☀️

Gramma’s cozy house

We totally enjoyed our stay at this Southgate house. It was the perfect location to our family & we used the bikes provided to ride to their homes along the Legacy Trail & to Siesta Beach & to the bay front for a downtown lunch. Judy was a perfect hostess. She welcomed our doggies and they enjoyed the big fenced back & cool terrazzo floors. We’ll come again.

Pleasant but some issues

Clean, attractively furnished in vintage beach cottage style. Beautiful new pool and spa. Plenty of bath and beach towels. But front door and sliding glass door locks are both temperamental and need adjusting (got locked out when couldn't reopen front door). Safety issues: no pads for area rugs to prevent slipping on terrazzo floor; no grab bars in showers; no handrail for getting in and out of pool. Unsightly yard -- weedy, not mowed -- makes a bad impression. Spa ran 8-5 with complicated directions for turning on later. Who would use it this time of year in the heat and sun of midday? Better to set timer for 8-10 a.m. and 5-10 p.m.

Beach vacation with our granddaughter

This property was in the perfect location for a vacation with our granddaughter. It is a short drive to multiple beaches, great restaurants and the Sarasota Jungle Gardens which our granddaughter loved. The property manager Molly and the owners Lara and Juan are very responsive with any questions or concerns. They shared with me some updated they have planned for the property and we would look forward to staying here again on a return trip to Sarasota.

Great Weekend Stay

My sister and I loved our stay at this cute house. It was perfect for our weekend in Sarasota. The house was on a super quiet street. It had a nice screened porch for relaxing. It was SO much nicer than staying in a hotel! Judy, the host, was so friendly and nice. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Charming Home

My husband and I spent five weeks here with our two French Bulldogs. When we arrived the check in was seamless. The house was exactly as pictured, spotless and the everything was there for us. The only thing we needed to do was to buy food! The pups loved the fenced in yard and we loved lounging in the screened patio in the evening when the bugs started biting. The home is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and the beaches are only 15-20 minutes away. Probably a shorter drive when it isn’t spring break. Jules, our host was super attentive if we needed anything at all. If I could have changed anything I would have loved a little more storage in the second bathroom for all my things but that is such a small inconvenience. The washer and dryer and all the appliances worked great as did the outdoor grill!! We loved walking the dogs in the evening through the tree filled neighborhood. You will love this home and host. Highly recommend!

Great place and our host was lovely. There were extra towels, blankets, and pillows as well as some basic household items to make a longer stay clean and comfortable. Our host warned us the tv was slow to turn on but I think it needs replacing because even changing channels took more than a few minutes. Anyway all in all it was a great stay.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful clean comfortable home. My Labrador Zeus loved the yard outside! Clean, close to beach, parks, restaurants and other convenience. Loved walking in the neighborhood filled with trees and a few playful squirrels 🐿 Will definitely return again!
