Minutes from Walking trails. Illinois River and Vermillion River only minutes drive. Two fireplaces. Jacuzzi. WIFI. Close to nature. The perfect getaway from the hustle's city. You will love it being here!! Two minutes walking from Saint Louis Trail .
Villa is inside GrandBear Resort complex.
(Please Note:WE ARE PRIVITELY OWNED, INDEPENDET FROM GRAND BEAR RESORT AND OR GRIZZLY JACK'S RESORT. Water Park Passes are NOT INCLUDED).Rustic log style furnishings. The generous 1,800 square foot Villa sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, comforting fireplaces, televisions, a patio, 2 balconies, washer/dryer, kitchen & dining area.

The kitchen is complete with all major appliances dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, single cup coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware, eating utensils and basic cookware.
To maximize your rental experience please consider bringing any special items you may need. There is a 24 hr convince store located inside the resort lobby, should you forget something.

House keeping services are not provided for stays shorter then 7 nights. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the full size washer and dryer to launder the existing towels and linens for a fresh supply.

Please Note:
*Villa toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper) will be provided but are based on the amount of people/duration of your stay.
Should you feel more is needed while on your stay please feel free to visit the General Store located inside GrandBear Resort.

*This Vacation Villa is privately owned and the use of some resort amenities (i.e. Water Park, mini golf) IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL.

Clean place on the end of building which allows for extra light from side window in dining and kitchen. All basic amenities (cookware, coffee pot, keurig) were included, but plan to bring your own bath soap/shampoo. Original furniture/decor (which is a little on the worn side). Solid place for a weekend stay.

Spacious Home Near Starved Rock!

We had a great stay during our trip to Starved Rock! The house is spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had.

This is the second year that we stayed at Martin's place. We love it her as it has exactly what we want for a home base while we explore the Starved Rock area. Always clean and welcoming. Highly recommended. PS we will be back soon!

Just a suggestion not a complaint

My wife and I stayed at this villa this past weekend and would definitely stay again if a couple of changes were made. But before those, this villa is very clean. Everything you need is there. The TV's are all new, the downstairs and upstairs were very nice. The neighborhood was quiet. A few suggestions for the owner to get us to 5 stars: The door going to the outside deck upstairs didn't open. The latch was broken.The 3 main beds and pillows are in dire need of replacement. We stayed 3 nights and tried all 3 with no luck at good rest. Very uncomfortable. The shower head upstairs and the clothes drier make very loud screeching noises when used. This was not a problem to either of us, just a suggestion to look at fixing maybe. We would definitely stay here again, if the beds and pillows were replaced.

Good location. Not many guests in the area while we were there. It was a great place to hold our Cousin retreat! The host replied & took action quickly for the minor hiccups. Even the weather was great.

Great location for our needs

This was our first time using VRBO. Although not the fault of the property manager, we found the app to be very clunky and difficult to use. The phone number to contact our host kept disappearing and we were unable to find the documents that he had originally sent to us.
