Renew yourself at this peaceful/centrally-located 2 story villa located in Grand Bear Resort Utica, Il next to 3 state parks.; golf,fishing, boating, biking. It’s surrounded by beautiful woods and landscaping.
Inside the 1800 square foot villa is decorated with authentic log furniture, two gas fireplaces, a full kitchen, laundry, a soaking bath/. Main level level has a large sofa and topper available to use as extra sleeping (inside chest and extra blow up bed. )Master has bedroom with king bed and sleeper sofa ; other bedroom : 2 queen beds. Villa will sleep 8 people Soaking Tub and chef’s kitchen will spoil you! 4 new stainless steel appliances added June 2022.
Babbling brooks and trails leading to serene views. Starved Rock trails start right across the street . Miniature golf and children’s playground is walking distance , summertime gazebo serving food is walking distance. Waterpark passes and mini golf are extra costs. Local area has inexpensive public pools
Villa offers kid/adult indoor and outdoor games as directly across from large outside play and picnic area. Please use designated grills only if you choose to grill outdoors)(
Downtown Utica has many restaurants with great food , ice cream parlor, wine tasting, and more. Rent bikes , go horseback riding , or Learn about the historic canal and river or eagle watch . Interesting Indian history told through various tours available Whatever, you are assured a wonderful time :) 
 and because I grew up in the area i will make sure of it!

Starved Rock Villa

This property was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our comfort. It is in a great location for hiking at Starved Rock state park. We would definitely stay here again.

Sisters get away

We thoroughly enjoyed the hiking on the 6th. We tried a couple of the eating establishments in Utica. The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the hominess of the villa and would consider it again.

Absolutely beautiful Villa! Very clean! All the comforts of home! Great getaway spot! I was very impressed. The only drawback was there was no pool. There is a Waterpark on the property but its 40 extra a day to use it.

Wonderful weekend stay!

My family booked a last minute stay in this unit and we were so very happy with our experience! The unit is clean and well stocked for all of your needs. Our host communicated very well and made a hectic decisions so much smoother! The property as a whole was great! Our son enjoyed the waterpark and the arcade as well as the jacuzzi tub! This property will definitely be saved for the future!

Lovely home

This lovely home is spacious, clean and well cared for. The location great, a short walk to the hiking trails at Starved Rock State Park and a few miles from Matthiessen State Park. We also biked on the I&M Canal Tow Path Trail in Utica. However, our favorite part of the stay was relaxing at the townhome.

Wonderful Host!

The host for this is lovely and so very accommodating. We had a few concerns early on that were very quickly taken care of. She called to let us know all the things that we could do in the area also, which was much appreciated! We had a great hike at Wildcat Canyon and enjoyed several meals out and some good shopping. Grand Bear as a resort was not the friendliest as far as staff goes, but our experience with this VRBO was wonderful. Highly recommend :-)

First mini vacation ever!

So we drive from Aurora I’ll for our first little getaway ever. And let me tell you it was awesome! As soon as we walked in the place was very clean, spacious and very comfortable. My kids loved just trying at the condo . We will most definitely book again soon! 10/100000! The property owner was very nice checked in on us, during our stay! Loved it ! Definitely recommend it, the water park my kids had so much fun, and so did I . The arcade. We didn’t eat there bc we cooked . Or got take out. But yes so worth the drive

So beautiful!

This place is huge! Very clean and spacious. All the appliances you could ever need. The only complaint is the description says that it is a five minute walk from starved Rock Park. It is not. You can walk to the entrance of the park(15-20 minutes) it's a long road into the park and you are not allowed to walk on the into the park but the park doesn't let you
