Rustic 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom 1800 Square foot Villa near Starved Rock. The Villa Sleeps up to 8 guests and has two fireplaces and a private tub in the master bedroom. Located within 1 1/2 hour drive of Chicago, this relaxing retreat is for you and your entire family and guests! Villa is very roomy and provides an ideal weekend getaway for families and friends looking for a relaxing weekend escape. Spacious living room features 2 plush sofas and a gas fireplace. The Kitchen is fully equipped with all of the necessary appliances and cooking utensils and the Villa backs up to Starved Rock Nature Preserve

Some of the best hiking in Illinois is available at nearby Matthiesen and Starved Rock State Parks. Nearby Bicycle trails also provide beautiful natural scenery on the
I & M Canal State Trails. Visit Nearby Country Edge Mall where you can sample, Fabulous Cupcakes, Homemade candy and Soda Pop from round the world and the Jerky shop.


Villa Features include:

Our stay was great. There were just a few unclean areas noted. There were cobwebs on the light in the downstairs bathroom and linens left in both the washer and dryer. It was also listed as 0.5 miles from the August Hill Tasting Room. It was 2 miles from the tasting room and not walkable due to the stretch of highway with no sidewalk. Overall, it was a great place and we definitely would stay again!

The unit was very cozy, inviting, and spacious. We had some rain so we spent more time than expected in the house and we never felt cramped. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fun at Starved Rock

Close to the park and in the Grand Bear Resort vicinity. We all loved how close the park was, how quaint the town is and the kids love the indoor water park!

Family get-a-way

The Villa was amazing! Downtown Utica was a couple miles away, Starved rock was just as close. Grand Bear lodge was also very nice. Our host was great. We can’t wait to come again!

This was a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo, all furnishings in great condition and everything was clean. We especially liked the comfy king bed in one of the bedrooms. I give it an A rating.
