The cabin was very clean. There was a little odor of cat urine possibly. The host was very prompt when returning my emails. She was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely refer the cabin to people.

Loved this place. Very clean and plenty of room with all of the essentials. Also the fact that we could take our dog was a plus. Host easy to get ahold of, very helpful and understanding for us newbies. Will definitely return.

Navigating to the right unit was a little tough, as everything looks exactly the same, but once we found the unit, check in was easy, although the parking spaces in front of our unit were both in use. kitchen was stocked with materials and supplies; we especially appreciated the Keurig coffee machine! The wifi was easy to access. Linens and beds were quite comfortable.

Peace and quiet

We left from Chicago to get some peace and quiet. It was such a relief to hear no fireworks except the controlled ones. The townhome cabin was beautiful and perfect. The grounds were very clean and fun to stroll around. All in all definitely coming back for more peace and quiet.

Pretty nice

Quiet setting, very close to neighbors, mattresses felt springs and not comfortable, several spiders on the floor and many ants on the counters. The unit was nicely decorated with open concept. Very few TV channels, not a smart TV.

Wanted to give 5 stars

This is meant to be fair and constructive. First, I would not call this a cozy cabin. It is a wooded development of dozens of identical 4-unit townhouses. Some are rentals, some are private residences. This "cottage" is one of four 2-story units in one of those buildings. It is a nice area.The place was clean and nicely decorated like a rustic cabin. Kitchen is modern and well-equipped. Furniture is nice. The two bathrooms are modern and clean. There three decent TVs throughout, but the batteries in two of the remotes were dead. It took a while to figure out this is why we couldn't operate them!The listing says it sleeps 9. I wouldn’t want to be there with 9 lol. There is a nice king bed in one bedroom that has the hot tub. Another bedroom has two queens. Add a sofa... well, you see the practical limitations.Now about that hot tub. It's modern, works well, and perfect for a loving couple. EXCEPT the water heater downstairs can't supply enough hot water to fill it! We couldn't fill it properly with warm water before the hot water gave out. I had to boil water on the stove downstairs. Six trips with the two biggest pots, and we were finally ready to turn on the bubbles.There are two gas fireplaces. The one upstairs wouldn’t come on. The one downstairs lit (just a wall switch), the glass cover was almost completely black with soot, so we could hardly see the flames.Didn’t contact the owner. I'm sure she's very nice and will address the issues. Give her a try.
