Great spot!

We stayed here while visiting family. It was perfect for what we needed! The house was older so it does have its quirks, but it was very clean and well appointed. It was very quiet too which was appreciated! Overall a great spot!

Peaceful place

This place was a little slice of peace a stones throw from downtown Grand Rapids. It was nice to be able to take a short Uber down but also have the advantage of space and quiet.

Great spot near family

We booked Jesus’ home to be close to family during a visit. It was a lovely home and very clean. Had all th ex nice bonuses like toiletries and cooking essentials. It is located on a busier street but was still very quiet at night and the side entrance makes it feel more private.

Nice older house and close to downtown

House was nice with plenty of room. There was a tenant upstairs, which I wasn't aware of from the listing, but they had a separate entrance and wasn't a big deal. Only cons were that the shower was very low pressure and Netflix and all the other apps on the TV didn't work. Not a huge deal for us since we spent most of our time downtown but something to be aware of

Clean House with character

Property is an older home with charm. It is nice and clean with beautiful hard wood floors, tall ceilings, and heavy wood trim. There is a full time tenant upstairs that is very kind and not an issue at all. Tight driveway if you have a large vehicle, but there is plenty of street parking. There is supplies in the shower and some condiments in the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with nice pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, and silverware. We enjoyed our stay and would definetly stay there again. Jesus was a great host!! Book it! You will not be disappointed.

Nice and clean home! Jesus was super responsive to an initial snafu checking in that was my fault. Just a note to others: this is a very old home so there are always “quirks” with a home that old. Also, the location is very close to downtown but it is in an area that is still under gentrification. But we always felt safe and it was quiet at night.I would recommend this place!

First, let me say that the host was extremely helpful, responsive and communicated in a positive way. He was very professional and we appreciated that. The place was clean, and the kitchen, equipped. The bed was comfortable. There were some problems. The air-conditioning unit in the back bedroom kept tripping the fuse. Therefore, we could not use it because lights in other rooms were on the same fuse. Our host was super helpful and tried to solve the problem, but now he knows he needs to bring in an electrician and he has vowed to do so.The decor could use some freshening up. The host is very professional and proactive so perhaps that will improve. The location was very close to the things we wanted to do. Liked the off street parking.

Thank you, Katie, for your stay and for your thoughtful feedback. I’m glad you found the apartment clean, comfortable, and well-equipped and that you appreciated my communication. Since your stay, I’ve had the electrical issue evaluated and corrected, and the AC is now operating properly without tripping the breaker. I also appreciate your comments regarding the décor and will continue making improvements. Thank you again, and I wish you all the best.

The only recommendation I would make is to put some camping chairs downstairs that could be used for the front porch. Otherwise, the home was extremely comfortable, perfectly situated and made for a lovely home base for our trip.
