LOCATION only two miles to legendary Boca Grande. On the island, you will find world-class fishing, luxury dining, stunning beaches, and a boutique downtown great for shopping. This one has so much to offer - spacious, elegant and one-of-a-kind custom-build quality. As you walk in the front door you will be greeted by a formal living room with soaring 25+ foot ceilings and windows from floor to ceiling pulling in tons of natural light. The kitchen was just remodeled with solid wood cabinets topped with quartz countertops and a six-burner gas stove something any chef will love. The family room has custom built-ins around your gas fireplace. The master bedroom is located on the first floor with French doors out to the pool deck. In the master bath, you will find a huge walk-in shower along with his & her vanities bidet and a Jacuzzi tub. As we walk upstairs you will fall in love with the dark stained hardwood floors. There are three additional bedrooms upstairs and all our accompanied by a private bathroom. Two of the guest bedrooms have a private veranda with great views of the pool and are enclosed in the two-story pool cage. The list goes on and on, three-car garage, huge circular driveway, room for RV or boat parking. Bikes and Golf clubs on sight for your use. 30 day notice to cancel upon sale

Lovely stay

We stayed for a week with my daughter, her husband and their two kids. The house is two stories with lots of room. The first floor is spacious and the 4 bedrooms are each good sized. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home. The only drawback is the noise from Placida Road when outside by the pool.

Amazing Home!

I can't say enough about how amazing this place is! My family travels worldwide, and this is by far the best VRBO we have stayed in. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the owners could not be more accommodating. The beaches are beautiful, and the ease of getting to restaurants, etc., was superior! We will travel back here to enjoy this fantastic place again!

Amazing house in Placida. Very nice place can’t say enough about the house and layout for a family that’s wants to vacation close to Boca Grande. Renters were very nice and accommodating with no issues. We will be back.

The master bathroom and bedroom has a horrible smell of sewage. We ran the exhaust fans the entire time we were there but could not clear the methane gas coming into the house from the overflow drain on the jacuzzi. Both the floor level and second floor of that end of the house reeked of sewage.

5 Star Experience

This property was perfect for our trip! It was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Crisp and prestine is how I describe this relaxing oasis. Sitting by the pool reminded me of being in a resort in Maui. I honestly never wanted to leave to go out and about. We could have kept our party here the whole time. I will definitely return and highly recommend.

Great place and close to everything!!!

Pretty, modern house for adults and families. Loved the pool and had fun biking to the beaches and places to eat. Appreciated the bikes being available for use. Saw reviews on the AC being as issue, but we had no problems, Owner stated it was brand new, and we had great temps the whole time. I would recommend. The owners are nice and responsive - even made a couple good recommendations of beaches and places to explore. Can't wait to come back.

Highly recommend Placida Palace!

Wow, highly recommend! Placida Palace was a dream. The house is stunning and very luxurious. The kids played in the pool all day long and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house is so close to Boca Grande Beach which had beautiful Caribbean white sand and there were so many amazing restaurants in walking distance. The bikes they have are great and we took them out all the time! The host was also very communicative and helpful. Check in and check out were a breeze. So sad to leave!

Amazing house

We had a great time at this house. We stayed here for the New Year’s week. The house is very big and as beautiful as you see in pictures. The view of the sunset from the pool area is fabulous. We had some questions when we first arrived but they were quickly answered and resolved by property manager and the owners. There’s couple beaches near by but Boca Grande was our favorite. There’s a grocery store and a gas station in the neighborhood for your convenience. I would definitely recommend this house for bigger families or group of friends.

Fantastic Stay

The house is absolutely beautiful and the area is conveniently located to all the essentials. The owners clearly communicated that the house still had minor damage from the last hurricane (missing pool screens) but this did not affect our stay or use of the pool during the day or night. The house is enormous and was more than big enough to accommodate our family of 6 adults and two teenagers. Lastly, one of the nicest touches was how well stocked the house was. Most rentals only give you enough kitchen/bathrooms supplies for one day but this house had plenty for our three night stay. Less time shopping for essentials and more time being on vacation.

Paradise without Air!

We arrived to a beautiful home without air conditioning. It is a great place but they knew they had a/c issues 2 weeks prior according to the air pro repair man. I know things happen but they didn’t seem to concerned that we couldn’t sleep at night.

I’m sorry you feel that way. The temp your first day was 76. The air was fixed and 72 degrees the very next day after your arrival. We did offer for you to cancel at no charge. You were very satisfied on our conversation the next day and you decided to stay. A new a/c unit has been installed. It is a Beautiful home.

Beautiful home and great location!!

This was such an enjoyable experience for all of us. The house is beautiful and clean just as it looks in the pictures. It has everything you would want, need, and more! We came to look at some venues for my daughter's wedding and heard that this area is a hidden gem. Well that it is! The guys loved playing golf and we loved all the beautiful beaches. Having the bikes to visit great local restaurants and Boca Grande was a huge plus. We also enjoyed relaxing and cooling off in the pool after spending the day in the beautiful Florida sunshine. We will definitely be back. Everything was easy from booking to departing. 10 out of 10 Some of our favorite spots were: Lighthouse Grill (a beautiful place to sit and watch the sunset), Apulia Osteria Italian restaurant, and Smokin Joe's tiki bar.

Let me start by listing saying “towels and linens washed in water that’s at least 140 degrees”, 140 would’ve been awesome, but we couldn’t get the water any hotter than 108 out of any faucet in the house so not sure where their water was coming from. Some creepy guy walked over when we arrived, did something in front yard, and walked away. Host said that’s the neighbor, he turns on and off the sprinklers. Sprinklers turned on and off the entire time we were their automatically, I put a camera on that spot where he was, he never came back. I tried complaining to vrbo to get a refund, no dice, absolutley no help they said it’s up to the owner. I will be filing chargeback on my credit card. Why was I notified day of arrival the screen around pool was ripped up from hurricane (FROM A YEAR AGO). Owner said been tough finding a contractor to fix, funny all the neighbors pool screens were fixed. Pool completely unusable at night because of florida bugs. There was some old inflatable toys laying around, guess left by past renters, that were all deflated. And even a half of cigar left for us from someone else… awesome cleaning procedures. One bedroom had a really uncomfortable sleeper sofa, that no one wanted to sleep in because there were no blinds on the windows. Bugs BUGS BUGS EVERYWHERE, biting ants in den and kitchen, roaches, don’t believe me, check out my TikTok tagged with vrbo and Placida because vrbo wont let me show pictures

Florida Building Regulation: The optimum temperature for both energy efficiency and function is 120°F. Higher temperatures increase scalding risks. Landscaper/Pool Maintenance/Pest Control are at the property weekly/monthly to maintain its Beauty and efficiency. Due to Hurricane Ian, contractors are overworked and supplies are delayed. Pool Screens to be in place July 29, 2023. Most people who have experienced a Natural Distaster are understanding of the aftermath You ripped a new set of bedding for Master Bedroom. There were NO Bugs found at property the day before your arrival and the day of your departure. I believe you have a Hidden Agenda ($$) with your comments. Prayers for your next host!

Don't Understand Vacation Rental

Owner advised on the day of our arrival that the AC was not operable and they had been having issues scheduling a HVAC person to come between rentals (the proper action would have been not to rent the property until the unit was successfully repaired or replaced). Which led to the next issue: The AC repair was left to my fiancé for scheduling. A few hours after our arrival we noticed that the AC unit ran continuously. When the AC guy came by he advised that the unit was not repairable but needed to be replaced. He also advised the owners who told him to check with us to see if it was ok for him to replace the AC unit during our stay (only available day Friday and our departure would be Sunday). This major issue in which owners should have been accountable, now became our issue. A forceful circumstantial decision was made by us with the HVAC guy for the unit to be replaced on Friday. Meanwhile, the AC guy advised the temp could not be moved below 76 degrees Fahrenheit until the unit was replaced. This was an absurd gesture since we were in FL and it gets hot in the days. While he did try to make adjustments to the unit until it could be replaced, upon returning to the property on Wed. night we noticed immediately it was now freezing. The Thermostat read 65 degrees and continued to decrease. When finally reaching the AC guy, my fiancé was advised to climb on the ladder in the garage to turn on/off for 2 nights until the unit was replaced on Friday. They took the entire day Friday to replace the unit and we could not comfortably access parts of the home. We advised 48 hours prior to arrival to heat pool for night time enjoyment which they verbally obliged. It was not done and the owners had the audacity to provide instructions on how we could do it (they were in AZ). What do we know about pool controls? We couldn’t figure it out and it took the AC guy to turn it on Friday, 4 days into our trip. Due to multiple screens missing on pool cage which were not shown in the ad on VRBO - lots of insects consistently fell from above into the pool, we had to constantly remove them if we were ever to utilize the pool. Not to mention the bites we had all over our body when we left. Screens missing from the outside door to lanai could allow for access from wild life/intruders etc. Pool deck area filthy upon arrival, owner advised housekeeping unavailable due to her having surgery. We had to clean it. Vacation should be a time for enjoyment, this wasn't.
