Featuring 5bdrms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, an 8-person hot tub, & a deck overlooking the gorgeous Lake Huron. The main floor features a full bath w/2 bedrooms w/queen beds, 1 being the master w/an ensuite. In the loft-like upstairs, you`ll find a 3rd bedroom & a large full bath. Lastly, the downstairs offers another bedroom w/2 bunk beds (full on bottom/twin on top), a half bath, & a door to walk out to the shore! Game room with another bedroom above it.


-Dog(s) are allowed but you must get permission first before you rent this cottage. The dog(s) must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Please sweep up/vacuum dog hair and dispose of prior to your departure. There is an additional fee to bring your dog(s).

-Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of $1,000 is required for this stay and is released after checkout if there is no damage. After booking, you`ll receive a link to complete online check-in, where you can pay the deposit or choose a non-refundable damage waiver of $169 in place of the deposit, which covers accidental damage during your stay
HOUSE RULES:

- No more than 5 cars on site
- Do NOT park on road or in neighbors` way!
- All furniture must be put back where it is found!
- No Shoes on while inside the home
- Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM
- Dog(s) must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Please sweep up/vacuum dog hair and dispose of prior to your departure. There is an additional fee to bring your dog(s).
- Please respect our neighbors by not having loud music or by yelling and using profanity (many are permanent residents!)
- Garbage must be bagged up, put into trash bins at the end of the drive way at departure.
- You must be 25 or older to rent this cottage
- Please note: RVs, tents, and campers are not permitted at our homes. Failure to comply will result in applicable fees.

We had a great getaway to Golf n Shores! A wild storm rolled through during our stay, knocking out power- but the host was extremely responsive and we really appreciated the communication. The house was clean, cozy, and super fun for our 3 kids. They are already asking to return!

The house was very nice and the communication with the host was very responsive. The beach was excellent and was a fantastic feature of this property. My two concerns were ….1. The half bath in the basement is very unfinished ( a toilet and sink). 2. For the price we were charged I thought the cleanup excessive. In particular taking the trash & recycling bins to the street. It was clear previous guest did not as the bins were very full when we arrived. However, the home was beautiful and well maintained.

On the bins: trash pickup here is only once a week, so we can't empty them between stays — that's why we ask guests to roll them to the curb on collection day. When that gets missed, the next guest arrives to full bins, which is what happened to you. Sorry about that. We're putting the pickup day in our check-in message so it's harder to miss. The basement half bath is shown as-is in our listing photos — it's an extra convenience rather than a full bathroom. Thanks for the honest feedback, and we'd love to host you again.

House was nice for our family vacation. Could have used more dinner plates, roughly 10 available but we bring paper plates. Hot tub was very nice. Beach was nice. Easy to get in water, no big boulders or large rocks. Water shoes are a good idea, big rocks out in the water. House was good. Neighbor to south a little hyper. Upon our arrival he told my husband he called local police and state police on the occupants prior to us. If kids playing ball and ball goes in his yard leave it until he is available to return it. Good thing is we only saw him a few times during our stay. You are able to take nice walk down the beach.

Perfect after Christmas relaxation!

Wanted somewhere to get away and relax for a few days after Christmas, this was perfect! Fit our family of 5 very well, great space for the kids to hang out in the basement. Hot tub was an added bonus! Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable, would definitely stay again!!

Fabulous!

This was a wonderful stay! The house was so clean, adorable, excellent views, fun game room. The golf course across the street was bonus and they were great people over there as well! Kitchen was stocked and easy to cook in, as we did not leave to eat out at all. Thank you for a great stay!

A beautiful lakefront home!

We had a great time staying at the lakefront home. The house is stocked with everything you could need and there are more updated bedrooms that we didn’t even have enough people to fill them! Check in is so easy and we would 100% come back!

Perfect weekend with friends

Five of us stayed in the home - there was plenty of space, but yet, we were cozy. The view of Lake Huron was stunning. Loved the outdoor hot tub. Very clean home, modern. We appreciated the Christmas decor!

Location was great, beautiful windows looking out to the water. Well equipped home. Bedroom above game room/garage is not attached to the home, exterior door to garage. Mostly a great home. Host was exceptional and attentive when needed. Bathroom in basement was not fixed, said winterized. Plenty of pillows, blankets, great location.

Great location with good sleeping arrangements for a family gathering of 14. Very responsive to our questions. A few items were disappointing including one toilet not working (which we are promised a credit for), the kayaks are not suited for adults (under 150 lbs) and the deck rail is quite flimsy.

Family gathering

Everything advertised about Golf n Shores is what we got. Golfing, hot tub and kayaking. Overall a great time for my adult family of 8. Except, the 4 beds on the first level are not suitable for adults and the kayaks have a 150 max weight capacity and are small.

Beautiful view

Unfortunately I had to leave the first morning because of family emergency. My son, daughter in law and grandson stayed. The weather wasn't good. Only one full day of sun. The storms took out the beach. I would love to go back someday and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view especially from the second floor. It is a beautiful home.

We loved the house and there was tons of space for us to spread out. There was a lot of spiderwebs on everything outside all the furniture and rails, we may have been the first rental of the season but luckily there was a hose so we just sprayed everything off. I’d love if there was more hooks or a place to put toiletries in the master bathroom. And for a house that holds that many people more silverware would be nice. Otherwise the place was perfect! Thanks so much!
