The rental was clean and has everything we needed to cook and to enjoy the pool and beach. The lake view was peaceful and provided a great view in the morning while eating breakfast on the patio. The kids enjoyed the lazy river and pools. The walk to the beach wasn’t too far from the unit. My family of 5 fit comfortably. We would love to stay in this unit again!

Some of the furniture was definitely used and not comfortable, but everything that we needed was available. We had an issue with the AC when we first arrived and it was taken care of promptly.

Terrific Time

Our unit at Heron was perfect for our family of 5. The decor was tasteful, furniture and the beds were comfortable and everything worked as expected. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and viewing the bay and lazy river, especially at night. The 11 yr old boys were happy as they got to fish from the pier every night. Everyday we made the walk to the beach via the overhead walkway. It was a 5-6 minute walk and very manageable even at 69 yrs old. I can't say enough positive things about the Resort and the Unit. It was wonderful! I want to mention the Rental Co., Coastal Vibe. They were excellent! I highly recommend this Unit and this vacation rental company.

Great rate, perfect location

Our group has stayed at this property many times now and this unit is solid. While some of the features are a bit dated, it has plenty of space and is a short walk from the beach.

Family Vacation

We had a great stay in Ft. Walton, West Destin condo’s. The condo was really nice with great views of the resort pools/lazy river. Huge outdoor patio. Great access to beach across street. My grand girls loved playing in the sand. Water is chilly in March but the weather temperature awesome. Highly recommend this for a family vacation!Wouldthisthis condo!

Had such a great time here at destin west! The room was very clean and spacious! We come here every year and we love it! It looks out onto the lazy river! It's beautiful during the day but at night time it even gets better with all the bright lights! Would definitely recommend staying in this lovely condo!

Relaxation and fun

Had the best vacation! The property was so beautiful and had everything we needed, we never even left! The unit had amazing views and was exactly as described. Would definitely go back! Comfortably for all 10 of us.

Best Vacation

Our rooms were perfect! It was very spacious, clean, well equipped, and the decor was very pleasing. Our property was a corner room so we had a large wrap around balcony. There was plenty of room so that even when it was raining we could sit out there without getting wet. The view from our balcony was spectacular, looking over the pool and lazy river and the bay. Loved our time there!

Great unit. Could definitely use some new cushions for the patio furniture. Other updates could be good, as well. However, it was priced accordingly.

Family Vacay

We enjoyed our family time in a beautiful area that never felt over crowded. Lots of pool and ocean time! A place that we felt at home in with all the amenities needed. Staff was very responsive with questions. We enjoyed donut shops with our toddlers along with many family friendly restaurants that served great food.
