Sandpiper Wing is a FIRST FLOOR (4 stairs) 1-bedroom/1-bathroom remodeled and beautiful apartment with den with sofa. It even has a private porch! Located less than a 10-minute walk to Dock Street in Cedar Key!

The unit offers 1 bedroom with a queen bed and Fire TV. The den is truly a second bedroom with its own door and closet. The sleeper sofa is comfortable both for lounging and sleeping. Sandpiper Wing offers Wi-Fi, smart TVs in both living room and master, kitchen w/ full stove/oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans, dining table, and washer/dryer. There's also a sizable dining table with plenty of space for 4. Perhaps the most sought-after amenity is the parking, which is right out front with a private overflow lot located a very short walk from the building. Just ask about boat trailer parking!

Great location for walking to beach

My husband and adult son stayed 2 nights while visiting family in Cedar Key. This was exactly what we were looking for as we only slept and showered here. Across the street from Annie's which was on our agenda and highly recommend! Walked to the beach and checked out the downtown shops. I can't speak on the kitchen amenities as we did not use them. We were not aware there isn't a grocery store on the island.

We were totally thrilled with the accommodations! There was not any loud noise or ruffness that we heard whch is great as we were both for total relaxation! If chance comes oue wau to make such a trip again we will be looking to book here again.

Soooo Quiet and peaceful

We went to have a getaway from the hustle and bustle of St Petersburg Fl. We love Cedar Key and the place was perfect. The property manager was quick to reply regarding an Email with the instructions sent to us that took me some time to get due to poor phone reception (not because of anything on their end) Very close to everything! Absolutely would recommend this place 100% we will return 👍

I liked that the bedroom was on one end and the living room on the other. I enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the birds while reading. Close to the village but not too close. We live in FL but wanted to get away.

Nice December Getaway

I am rating the upstairs unit because we did not get to stay in this one. Thank you Lauren for moving us promptly. The people before us left bait shrimp on the table and fish guts in the trash. Shame on you for ruining it for others! Shout out to the cleaning crew who tried their best to get the smell out, but it was still overwhelming. We have stayed in 2 of these units and love the location.

Keep an eye out for my little box turtle friend when there. Half mile to the pier/main food and shoppers area, so easily walkable. Beautiful sunset from the pier. Room was very big and clean. A slight musty smell at first but hey, area eas hit by a major storm and flood a month ago. No damage to this property though. Would absolutely stay here again.

They're excited to have expanded into Cedar Key, where Lauren spent time as a child while visiting her grandmother, who has lived in nearby Chiefland, FL, her whole life.

We're so happy you're considering a stay in the village of Cedar Key! We (Lauren and Aric) LOVE sharing our properties with others, and providing a comfortable and stress-free stay. We rotate among our properties in Tarpon Springs, Hudson, and Cedar Key, so we may or may not be nearby, and typically interact via text, email, or the platform. You'll see from reviews that we are typically very responsive to guest questions, plus we have family located nearby. In Cedar Key, we get to see Lauren's grandmother (who turned 90 in 2022) and her uncle, who live in Chiefland.
