Wet cabin I’ve ever rented. The amount of amenities alone give it 5 stars. Little things like dog bowls and beds are greatly appreciated. Hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, an oxygen machine, and a fully stocked kitchen made the stay. Highly recommend

We had a group of 18, kids included. This stay was nothing short of amazing!! Beautiful scenery and such a beautiful home. I’m Very grateful for the hosts as well, as they made our stay very easy and accommodating. We would definitely book with them again!

Place was beautiful, had great views. Stayed here for a small wedding, and did not disappoint. Beautiful house, beautiful views, can’t complain.

A truly beautiful home. The location is very hard to beat. It feels remote, and offers fantastic views of the mountains, a small stream running through the property behind the house, and several moose that made regular morning and evening appearances. The amenities in the house were as advertised - we particularly liked the whole house sound system, the pool table, the automatic fireplaces, and the hot tub. The hosts were very accessible and responsive. We highly recommend visiting the Mangy Moose!

Beautiful Location

The house was beautiful and well stocked. There are excellent amenities in the house (hot tub, pool table, games, puzzles, etc) The beds were comfortable as well which was a bonus. We would stay there again.

Great Location & House!

We loved the location and size of this house. The house had everything we needed for our stay and plenty of beds for our party of 9. Our kids enjoyed the hot tube and our entire family enjoyed the pool table. The views from the house are fantastic and we enjoyed viewing moose, deer, and coyotes from the deck.

Booked the Mangy Moose for our wedding. The hosts were both available whenever we had questions and ready to answer all. We have seen the residential moose Earl everyday leading to and on the day of the wedding. Check in and out instructions were simple and straight forward. It was an amazing home, property, stay and hosts! Will hope to visit again soon.

Mountain oasis

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful mountain oasis. We had a large group for a family reunion, and tge home fit all of us perfectly. It was clean and comfortable with stunning views. We really enjoyed the hot tub and watching the sun rise from the upper deck. I can't wait to book another stay here next summer.

Amazing stay!

This place was the perfect getaway tucked into the mountains. We saw a lot of wildlife, including a moose right when we pulled up to the house. Kia was so friendly and checked in with me throughout our entire stay. We didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location with lots of room!

We had 16 furefighter wives stay for a wonderful weekend! The kitchen was fully stocked and the layout worked so well to accommodate us all. We didn't get to see any wildlife but the view of Pikes Peak was pretty neat! Hope to return again soon!

Wonderful stay

Kia was a great host! Her communication is superb – from immediate initial contact, to instructions beforehand, to several messages during the stay to check everything was ok. The home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. A kitchen with all the items you need! Views are tremendous! We loved our stay here & I would definitely recommend.

Peaceful mountain getaway!

My friends and I had a great time at the Mangy Moose. It was well stocked and had great amenities, as well as a beautiful view. We saw quite a few moose. The hosts were very communicative and flexible which was very helpful! I would happily return to this home in the future.

Sounds like you had a great time! We are disappointed that you left us our only 4 star review. We went above and beyond allowing an early check-in and late checkout. The cleaners arrived after your group and found the house in terrible shape. I'm assuming you knew we would leave a lower score for you, which is why you only gave us a 4 despite raving about the property and the flexible check-in and check-out times.

Reunion 2024

A group of friends now spread around the globe get together when we can for a reunion. The Mangy Moose was very high quality, well stocked, well managed and BEAUTIFUL. A perfect place for quality time in a group.

Amazing Space for Intimate Wedding /Vacation

We rented this beautiful place for a family vacation and a wedding ceremony. The house was beautiful and the view was breathtaking! We saw wildlife around the property everyday. The hosts were amazing throughout the entire process, and the communication was great, both prior and during our stay. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed plus many extras! It was a wonderful experience and hope to be able to do it again soon!

Amazing Place!

Everything about our stay was amazing. The views were spectacular and the location was perfect. Just 20 minutes from the nearest town with all the amenities you’d need (grocery, gas, coffee) but isolated enough that you have all the nature Colorado has to offer (we saw moose, countless deer, and so many humming birds!)The house was amazing. Well stocked and supplied, clean, and everything was labeled so no hunting around for the right cupboard. The hosts supply an oxygen concentrator, which was appreciated by all of us flat landers!

Family Getaway and Proposal

Property was amazing. Family gathered and stayed comfortable. Plenty of room for our party of 10. Do recommend 4wd. The best part is the Hosts. Kia is an amazing host, top notch and thinks about everything!
