This luxe pet-friendly accommodation is located 4 blocks from the award-winning Riverwalk in historic downtown. 1 King BR, 1 Queen BR, 1 BA with parking. Registration STL2021-0215 The space Steer on Dock features two super-comfortable MLILY beds wrapped in luxurious 100% Egyptian cotton and/or Supima bed linens. The herringbone–accented tile shower is stocked with bath essentials. An open floor plan kitchen/living room with a unique dining booth reclaimed from a local pizzeria. Restore yourself in the morning with a Nespresso and peacefully end your day with the invigorating aroma and flavor of fair-trade caffeine-free Harney & Sons organic tea. 65" 4K Roku smart TV in living room and 55" 4K Roku smart TV in bedroom. Beach chairs and supplies (sunscreen, beach towels, beach bag, cooler) are at the ready for a quick trip to one of the many local beaches for a tranquil day of sun and relaxation. Curl up with Legends of Old Wilmington & Cape Fear coffee table book in the hanging Treepod Cabana or dine alfresco in the generous covered patio. And don't forget the hundreds of amazing bars and restaurants just blocks outside the front door!

Cutest Place Ever
This VRBO was so wonderful. We didn’t want to leave. It is so spacious and well decorated. It is super comfortable as well. We loved all the incredible original details and the modern amenities of the property. Would definitely stay here again!

UNC Wilmington Year 2 Getaway
This was year 2 drop-off for our Seahawk! I'm always looking for a place to stay for drop off, visits, etc.. Well, this is the best VRBO that I have ever stayed at! It is quiet, clean, comfortable and in a great location!

Absolutely perfect ! Artfully decorated, incredibly comfortable, brimming with history - couldn't have asked for a better place to turn a business trip/meeting into an extended stay overnight in Wilmington. Looking forward to breaking away again soon and making the "Steer" our base to explore all that Wilmington has to offer. Big thanks to the hosts/owners for restoring such a beautiful home and for sharing a small piece of their hard work and dedication to these magnificent structures with travelers who appreciate it. Hi, I’m Paula!
My husband Chan and I moved to Wilmington in October of 20 after living in Alexandria VA for most of our lives. We visited Wilmington for the first time in April of 19 and fell in love with it. I immediately began searching for our first vacation rental. Within a few months we purchased what is now known as Elephant on Market. Fast forward a year, and after spending lots of time at the condo visiting, the pandemic hits and we can work from anywhere. So we decided to buy a historic home in downtown Wilmington. Talk about an adventure. We are now in the midst of a pretty substantial restoration project just a few blocks from the condo and have built our second rental - now known as Steer on Dock. Our house was built in 1855 by the same architect as the Bellamy Mansion. It's been a lot of work but will be AMAZING when it's done. Please hit me up if you want to come over for a tour while you are visiting. Another year in Wilmington and another rental added to the mix - the most charming bungalow we call Crane on Dock!
I’m fun and easy going and really love meeting new people on my adventures. My favorite things in the world are music, animals, travel, photography, and interior design. I especially love the beach and am completely obsessed with my French bulldog Atlas. Oh, and I love coffee and foodie stuff and WINE! I also have a passion for real estate.
