We just returned from our stay at 150 Metros and are already thinking about when we can return. This home was absolutely everything we had hoped for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. The home, pool and location are perfect. I don’t think there is a closer option to Avellanas. This is a very well designed and impeccably furnished home with modern and working appliances including AC in every room. Our children loved their bunk room and the pool. Management was also fantastic and worked with us to make our arrival smooth as well as help with anything that popped up. Highly recommend this home.

Great House very close to beach

The house was perfect for our family to enjoy Playa Avellanas! Kids loved the pool, great balconies and rooftop to enjoy as well. Recommended!

this has been my best VRBO experience, hands-down. The property management was always available to help us with any questions we had about the house or local restaurants and happenings. They even reached out to us when they found out about a local baby sea turtle release. Our kids got a one to a lifetime experience that we never would’ve known was happening because of the property management. We can’t thank them enough for their amazing hospitality during our stay!

The home is beautiful, modern and comfortable with great spaces outdoors and indoors alike. We loved the location - just steps from the beach and the chill vibe of Playa Avellanas.

Wonderful place for a family vacation!

We had a fantastic stay at 150 Metros in Costa Rica with our four kids, aged between 7 and 16. The house was clean, relaxing, and felt very safe. The area was great, with enough restaurants and just enough activities to keep us entertained if we wanted, but still peaceful enough to relax in tranquility. Overall, a wonderful place for a family vacation!

spring Break

Perfect end to our Costa Rica vacation. 4 adults and 3 teens loved everything about this place. Gorgeous beach just a couple minute walk away. Surfing was amazing!

Our stay at 150 Metros was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teens. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The location is very good with great access to the beach and nearby restaurants. The property manager was helpful and friendly. She answered our texts very quickly.

Avellana Paradise

This home is beautiful. It was perfect for our party of 8 (4 kids, 4 adults). The property was well maintained, and if by chance you get tired of being there (doubtful) the beach, which is a very short walk away, will not disappoint. Just up the street is a wonderful natural playground where parents can get a drink from the bar and relax while children play (why don’t we have that option in Canada!) Thanks to Brenda and to the property manager for a memorable stay.

We had an excellent experience at 150 Metros!   We visited for 9 nights over New Year's.  We have been to Costa Rica, and specifically Playa Avellanas multiple times in the past.  This was our first visit to 150 Metros, but it won't be our last!  The house was incredible.  The design and layout was fabulous.  My husband and I took the master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, and my parents and daughter took the two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs - they said they felt like they had their own suite up there!  The kitchen is amazing - we didn't do any cooking but enjoyed the fridge for drinks and snacks.  The house was clean and well kept.  I also appreciated the washer/dryer.  We greatly enjoyed the roof top and 2nd floor balconies.  We were able to see howler monkeys, iguanas, and many types of birds, including green parrots all from the house.  The pool was delightful and was kept clean by a pool cleaner 3 times a week.  You can't beat the location to the beach and local restaurants.  The property manager, Chiara, was great.  She did a great tour of the house when we got there and answered any questions we had throughout the week.  She is super responsive on WhatsApp.  I can't say enough good things about 150 metros!  We will definitely return on our next trip to Costa Rica.

Great property and home. Pool cleaned every other day. Chiara is amazing and very helpful. Short walk to beach and Lola's plus a few other great restaurants nearby.Will be back.
