Enjoy this beautiful upscale home with lots of extras. Backyard oasis to unwind in the hot tub as well as huge BBQ area. Two stories and many rooms to relax. We have chosen each space with entertainment and relaxation in mind. Fully stocked house on a great street with lots of privacy. Come stay for the weekend or stay for a month!

Comfortable Hideaway in Chico

This home is the perfect getaway for a family. The furnishings are comfortable and the open kitchen lends itself well to dining and socializing. The backyard patio is easily accessible and surrounded by trees and shrubs for privacy. It's a comfortable home and a great place to relax while visiting Chico.

A true home away from home!

Traveling with my husband two kids-10&17 and our chihuahua. We had a fabulous four nights at Anastasia’s clean, convenient and super cute home. We felt at home from the moment we stepped inside and into the welcoming and warm living area with large comfortable sectional and huge tv. The kitchen had every convenience-we enjoyed the pod coffee maker provided. We loved the barbecue area, and the hot tub off the master bedroom was excellent with high quality jets. All beds were comfortable with nice bedding. This house had so much space- we all had our privacy but also wonderful areas to be together as a family. The washer & dryer were modern and convenient. The location was private and quiet, yet so convenient to downtown and all of Chico. Anastasia was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay and we can’t thank her enough for having us. We would definitely stay here again!

I think there could have been more instruction on the lights and systems in the house. A few more bowl, pots and pans would have been nice. No pap er towels or napkins, batteries dead for the garbage can, no instructions for the bidets. Overall better communication and instruction would have helped

Hey James! We are sorry you had issues with some of the instructions. We do have the house manual on the counter, but we could definitely try adding a few frames signs near the things you mention. Also my cleaners are very good at stocking but I'm sorry if you ran out of paper towels, next time let me know I have extra stock in the garage so I can always pop by and replenish anything for you. Thank you for the feedback.

Keep Away From This Property

This booking, house & host made me leave VRBO forever. It went downhill from the moment I booked. The host found it beneath her to respond confirming the booking. Fights arrived late, so check-in was in the middle of the night. We found the home less than clean, but the major issue was the black mold in the master suite. The entire suite smelled of mold and mustiness. Vbro assured me that if the homeowner/host could not fix the issue during normal business hours I would be moved and receive a full refund. An upstairs toilet had leaked. The leak was fixed, but they failed to deal with the waterlogged drywall. They seem to have any plans to do so in the future either. Mold remediation requires more than simply covering it with Kilz paint. This house was also VERY POORLY cleaned, IE: used tissue on the floor, toilet was used and not flushed, there was hair in both of the home’s showers, the shower was caked with hard water & soap scum, sinks were not cleaned, etc. Anastasia claimed she was there personally, & she considered the home "clean". If you are looking for a clean and sanitary place to stay, I would steer clear of this home. Additionally, VRBO seems to be ok with a home in this condition being listed on their site and did nothing to help me receive a refund, nor did they help in finding another more suitable place for the week. It is a health violation and safety risk to put consumers in a home with black mold.

This guest was writing me in the middle of the night at 2:00am ..she even told vrbo I was unreachable but had booked and was confirmed. But she was upset I didn’t confirm beyond the first confirmation of her booking. I really should have cancelled her reservation she was so unpleasant from the very start. She requested her code the night before which I don’t usually give out but I did give to her and I left all the lights on for their late arrival I did literally everything in my power to make her happy but she was a miserable person who was very rude before she even arrived! Please do not come back to VRBO! I was willing to lose $900 to get her out of the house. As for her statement of “mold” there was the smallest discoloration in a seam and we actually did repatch that seam and it wasn’t a very big deal. It took hiring a handyman and he was in and out that Monday. Also it should be mentioned, She had 2 Upstairs bedrooms that she refused to sleep in but then wanted to stay in the room that was making her deathly ill. I think she might be an ambulance chaser… I’m going to contest this awful review.

The only thing is if there is 6 beds there should be 6 not 5 beds air mattresses should not be considered a bed a least have the couch turn into a bed and have air mattress as a extra commodity.

I'm from California, but I grew up near B.C. Canada and moved back to Humboldt County California in 2000. I moved here to Chico after my sister met her husband. After a longer visit one time I left that day just feeling like I couldnt wait to come back. So in 2014 I moved here bought my first home, and settled into the life! I love everything about it. Home town feel with all the amenities you need :)

Great established residential neighborhood just a few minutes to Enloe Hospital and downtown. Coffee shops and restaurants close by. You'll love the spacious yard and spa area with firepit in the back yard.

This property is unique in so many ways, I think what mainly stands out is the space, and the care that went into making it a real entertaining house. Sound sysyem, patio BBQ, hot tub, fire pit, huge living area, and individual TV's in each room.
You really can spread out and make yourself at home.
