Absolutely LOVED the beach view!! We were also very near restaurants and local shopping (within walking and biking distance). Would stay there again!

Location was fantastic with a short walk or bike ride to Seaside. Like others have said there are a few things that need to be updated. Carpets for sure. Gas Grill could stand to be replaced as well.

Location! location! location!

Great view and great location. End of season and unit needs some pampering, but I passed along suggestions and they are on it. Can't beat the view of the gulf, and the proximity to Seaside, WaterColor and Grayton Beach is convenient. Also convenient - Publix was a 5 minute drive in the golf cart that we rented from another agency. The bikes were a bonus, too! Be aware that it is on a public beach (in fact that public access is adjacent to the house) and there are rules about setting up your umbrellas and cabana. Overall, we would rent again!

Great location, but house needs updating

The best thing this house has going for it is its location - steps from the beach, a 10 minute walk/2 minute drive to Seaside, and a 1 minute walk to two local restaurants. The house being one story was also a plus when you have dogs. But the house itself needs some serious updating and deep cleaning. Many of the dishes and utensils were still dirty when we arrived and needed to be rewashed. Being a dog friendly house, there were a LOT of uncleaned pee spots from past renters (mostly on the bedroom carpets but we noticed one on the living room curtains). And all the bedrooms smell like urine because of this. There were also a few broken blinds and window fixtures when we arrived, and metal pieces had fallen off the roof onto the deck after it had rained a few times. We also had to buy extra hangers as one bedroom does not have a closet and there only a handful of hangers for all the bedrooms. You can tell this house has had a lot of people stay in it, and it needs its carpets cleaned at the very least. But it’s a good option if you have dogs and want to be close to Seaside.

Best location

This house fit all of our needs. Location, Location, Location was amazing!!! You are steps from the beach and seaside. We got a golf cart but really didn’t need it as they provided bikes and it was a very short walk to seaside. It was so nice to have your private access to the beach! This house I highly recommend for the convince to everything. We will be back! Thank you for the memories we made as a family.

Serene Beachfront Stay!

This home is exactly as advertised. Location is perfect - a short walk to Seaside shops, across the street from bike path along 30A and jogging trails throughout Watercolor/Seaside, and a quiet beach in your backyard. The house is older and a bit worn, but clean and well kept. Public beach access is next to house, so you will see some heads walking by. Also, the town sanctions a teen beach party right outside, which makes it a little noisy until 10p or 11p but I didn’t find it disturbing. The home across from the public access walkway is under construction, but there was little activity and minimal noise. The house has a propane gas grill and a 4-cup basket-filter coffee maker. Officially it comes w/ 4 bikes but there were 6 when we arrived, as well as 4 boogie boards, beach umbrella, and beach bocce ball set. I’D STAY HERE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT!

A lovely beachfront house

We rented this beachfront home for 5 days and it was perfect. The location was great a short walk or bike ride down from the Seaside retail. It was quiet and very well appointed.

A week in Paradise!

The most fabulous place we have ever stayed in Seagrove. The views and location are spectacular. We come to this area at least 3-4 times a year and will definitely book this house again.

Spring Break beware

The property was great and location - if had not been Spring Break - would have also been great. However the public access is right next to the house and the police block the beach to a very small area right at the property location. So every night about 300+ teenagers are RIGHT next to the house and came up the stairs and even into the house one night. The police came to the house twice following random teenagers thinking they were with our group. The daytime was great but every night was a disaster. It’s a shame as this property and location are otherwise really terrific. Also, the dryer was out when we checked in and it took 4 days of me calling every single day before we could finally get a resolution. Property Management tried to tell me someone came out and checked it and it was working but that was not true and I finally had to call the reservation line to get someone from reservations to step in to help with a resolution. We also had to call when random teenagers came into the house coming up the wrong stairs as this house didn’t have any privacy notice or gate at the bottom. They did send someone over the next day to put up a rope that helped keep the kids out.

Great Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The ocean view, beach, and location to the center of Seaside (a short walk to the center) are fantastic, but the house lacks some items that should be in a rental at this price. The back deck has paint chipped throughout the area, and mold is growing in the deck. Zero umbrellas or shade on the deck area, zero beach towels & beach chairs are at the home. All bedrooms have very old carpet that smells like old cigarettes and is stained in multiple spots, outdoor lights didn't work & most of the shades in the home are unusable or broken. Stained dining room chairs, lampshades, and benches.It's too bad because this could be a great rental, given its location, that we would return to, but with those old items and missing items, it's not a spot I'd want to rent again. We did have an issue with the Wi-Fi and a door lock not working & maintence was responsive, the dryer stopped working on our last night there, but the management responded and was trying to send a person out to look at it.

Perfect location for group of teens

This was the perfect house for couples with teenagers. The adults stayed in the King rooms and the bunk room was spacious and perfect for a group of teen boys. The home was well appointed and an easy 7 minute walk to the Seaside Square. The beach was not crowded considering its proximity to Seaside. Easy communication and quick response from the property mgt company. 10 of out 10. Would definitely recommend this property and look forward to our future stays at this home.

PERFECT LOCATION!

This house was perfect for us, as it had four private bedrooms and a common area where the six of us could gather and have that gorgeous ocean view! The deck and view were so spectacular that we opted to order most meals in. Would definitely return!

Perfect location

As close to the sand as you can get with the easiest possible access. Also very close to Seaside dining/shopping area if that is important to you. Loved the fact that it was one level. A great floor plan with children’s bunk area offset from the rest. It is an older build and we had a few issues, but the rental agency was responsive and acted quickly.

Birthday trip

Overall wonderful location and views for days. Loved all the extra seating and layout of the house esp it being a one story and accomodating for taking pets out for walks. Beds were very comfortable and loved being only a boardwalk away from the crystal blue seas. I do reccommend doing an inventory of working kitchen appliances and also putting a bit more toilet paper in each of the bathrooms for a start out and also hand soap in kitchen and bathrooms. We used the body wash for hand soap. Overall a lovely stay and loved the bikes as well.

Lovely relaxed visit...

Our stay was dreamy. The weather was a bit wet and cool, however, it didn't matter with our spectacular views & sounds of the Gulf. All was as described. We had some trouble w/ cable that mgmnt came out straight away to take care of. We accidentally failed to log out of our netflix account & the next group bought movies on our account - so remember to log out. In the driveway was dog waste left behind - which I say, "pick up after your dog, please - don't ruin it for the rest of us that do". Housekeeping should not be responsible for that! All in all, it was a lovely few days and I would run back for this very casita to stay in again. Thank you!

Perfect getaway

There’s nothing like waking up looking at & hearing the ocean and working out on the back porch staring at the beautiful water! The house was just right for our family. The carpet in the rooms could use some love, but overall, this house is just like the pictures. Also, this property is perfectly situated just a couple of minutes from Seaside with good food & shopping, and a short bike ride from the grocery store.
