Really fun and easy stay. Communication between property owner was easy and helpful. Place was fully stocked and the private hot tub was a huge bonus. My wife and I stayed here on our mini-moon.

The cottage is very cute and cozy lovely backyard however it is located in an industrial area, The cottage needs overhead fans if the weather is warm.The hot water for showering was limited, ran out after a short time, and needed several minutes to come back.

great location, beautiful place

this little bungalow is perfection!! it seems like a crazy location when u drive up, but it’s such a cozy and private locale, only 2 blocks from east beach. beach chairs and towels provided. front porch and back patio covered with greenery/flowers. jacuzzi a plus. very clean and safe. can open windows and doora, cross breezes are lovely. full size wash/dry a plus as well. overall, 5stars. thanks for sharing ur space!

Jungle Oasis

Sandor’s place was a beautiful slice of heaven. It was conveniently located where we were able to ride our e-bikes (we brought our own) all around town. We didn’t get in the car all weekend! And the house was so cozy and comfortable that we wished we could stay longer. Sandor was great with communication and everything went so smoothly- my husband and me definitely want to come back again!

Freeway noise problematic

While the house and garden are cute and clean, the location is awful. Right next to the freeway. And it's very near a homeless shelter as it turns out. I arrived home one evening to a homeless man foraging in the dumpster 30 feet away. I did not feel safe. The owner also runs a landscaping business behind the house, and the driveway access runs along the side of the house where the bedroom is. Trucks leaving from 7:30-8:30am right under the bedroom window. I left after only two days out of 10 reserved with no partial refund or any compensation. Very frustrating experience. I am a super host on VRBO myself and would never have treated a renter this way.

Santa Barbara retreat

We were so happy with our stay. Everything was first class. Clean, organized, close to everything!I was worried when I pulled up because it is in a commercial building area but it was like we were in another dimension once you were behind the gate. The fireplace kept us warm and the breeze kept us cool!Lovely place!Thank you for the stay.

Wonderful little hideaway!

What a great little place, close to everything but away from it all. All of the thoughtful touches from landscaping to the indoor decor make it feel like your home away from home. Super well-appointed and the bed was comfy too! Can't wait to come back and stay again. Loved everything about it! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wonderful weekend

We stayed here for move in weekend for UCSB. The check in process was great. The host met us there gave us a tour and was very accommodating. We loved the property. Don’t let the industrial setting put you off. Once inside the property you feel like you are in your own oasis. There is a view of lush greenery from every window. The backyard is magical with a hot tub and twinkle lights. We cooked dinner and went out to local places. The house is stocked with everything you need. We walked to the beach and to a fabulous grocery store half a block away. We had such a nice time and hope to come back to stay again!

Enjoyable Stay with Convenient Location

We had an enjoyable stay! It was clean and cozy. It was well-decorated and well-stocked with cookware. The host was welcoming and provided all the info we needed to feel right at home. Although it's situated in an industrial area next to a busy freeway, we didn’t feel unsafe or bothered by the noise. The bungalow was also just a quick two-block walk to the beach and conveniently close to a local grocery store.

Excellent Host and Such a Gem

This was the perfect location for a weekend with my best friend. You feel truly away from everyone but it takes ten steps to all the fun things to do. The host was awesome and the house was decorated thoughtfully. I felt at home.

Weekend Get-a-way

This place is a gem. Very well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Close to the beach and about a 30 min. walk to downtown Santa Barbara. The proximity to the freeway is a little noisy but did not keep us from enjoying our time.

A True Oasis (but on an Industrial Street)

Sandor was a fantastic host and has put a ton of effort into creating a beautiful place to stay in Santa Barbara. The surrounds of the house are lush greenery, the backyard has a great hot tub and grill, the home is perfect for a couple to spend a few days
