This beautiful waterfront home offers a private boat dock, pool, and fenced in yard!

Enjoy Old Homosassa with waterfront views every day when you call this home your next vacation destination!

The house has two bedrooms with king size beds, and a loft with two twin beds. It also has two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry room. There is also room for a boat trailer in the driveway. Renters will not have access to the garage area.

Enjoy the quiet, relaxed seclusion of this waterfront property. Located on the deep water canal known as Otter Creek, it is only five minutes direct boat access to the clear Homosassa River and twenty minutes to the Gulf of Mexico. See the manatees and dolphins or just enjoy the fishing and boating in this tranquil area of Florida. Enjoy regular visits from the manatee from the dock in all the surrounding waterways.

Perfect for avid fishermen, enjoy casting your line right off the dock! Once your catch of the day has been caught, clean up on the dockside cleaning station.The dock also comes equipped with a 6,000 Ib boat lift.

Whether you choose to fish off the private dock or kayak to the springs, there are endless opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the river from our home.

Make sure to take advantage of the variety of amenities in the local area. Enjoy boating, kayaking, seasonal scalloping, and potential dolphin and manatee sightings. When feeling extra adventurous try local airboat rides, manatee snorkel tours, and sunset cruises. Don’t forget to experience Monkey Island, Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, and many of the nearby festivals.

The house is a 4 minute boat ride to The Freezer (2 min. by car), and about 6 minutes by boat to MacRae’s boat ramp or Crump's Landing.

The Nature Coast of Florida deserves its name, with over ninety-eight thousand acres set aside as federal, state or county parks and preservation areas. It is a delight to all nature lovers, with extensive boating, fishing and golf courses within easy driving distance.

The owner's family has serious allergies. Remember this is their home. NO ANIMALS INSIDE OR OUT REGARDLESS OF THEIR PURPOSE. NO SMOKING. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. NO MORE THAN 8 PEOPLE AT THE HOUSE AT ANY TIME.

The house was very clean. We enjoyed the pool after a long day of fishing and scalloping. Great location. Close to the restaurants by boat and golf cart.

Perfect place for a relaxing stay

This was our first trip as a family with our 18 month old boy and it couldn't have been a more perfect vacation for what we were aiming to do........relax. We played in the pool, went fishing, and checked out the local park where we were able to see Lu the hippo! The local restaurants did not disappoint either with quite a few places just minutes away. Can't wait to come back during scalloping season when our kid is a bit older!

Great stay and location!

The house and location was great! My biggest complaint is that there were only 5 towels for 6 guests. Also the house does not have a dishwasher. Not a big deal if we had the info but there was very little info provided to us. I could have easily planned for it if I had known. Owners were kind to allow us an early check in and were responsive to messages. Overall great stay and would stay again!

Great time

This is a great house and the pool area is even better. We arrived with the AC not working and I contacted the homeowner who had someone at the front door to fix in less than an hour! We will definitely return!

Amazing time in this beautiful and quiet retreat. We absolutely loved the pool and the view! It was incredibly peaceful and can’t wait to come back next year.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay again this year. The house is comfortable and in a great location. The pool is the perfect touch. We had issues with the tv’s in the bedrooms but we weren’t home enough for it to really bother us. Looking forward to renting again next year.

Very nice!

The place was a perfect location. Easy to get in and out to the river. The boat lift and dock are awesome amenities. My 5 yr old grandson lived in the pool! Everything was as mentioned. Will be staying there again!

We had a great stay! The house was the perfect size and the boat dock was great. We even got to see a dolphin in the canal! Conveniently located to all the restaurants on the water and the springs.

We had an excellent experience, would book it again.

We were able to take our boat, the boat dock and lift were in excellent condition. Restaurants were easily accessible. Fishing was great, watched manatees playing from the dock.

Clean and Great Communication

The property was clean and well taken care of. All communications were handled quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the location, overall condition of home, pool and dock. We docked our 20 ft boat with no issues.
