The location, views of the River, and comfortable patio furniture were Wonderful! Hopefully they will update the patio photos on their website because we packed a lot of unnecessary stuff. The tiny house was clean however there was a lot of dog hair on the couch. The host did not respond in a timely manner for some of the questions we had, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the patio and being right next to the boat launch!

Great stay on the river!

We loved our stay on the river. This place is super cute and cozy. Right off the boat ramp and dock for convenience. The air conditioner worked great!Cell phone service was spotty so we were thankful wifi was available. We enjoyed boating swiming and fishing. My daughter caught a huge bass right off the shore in front of doc holiday. We had a fun packed weekend and will definitely be back.

Parker Strip Trip

Location, location, location. Nice quiet space on the river with the launch amenities right there. Very convenient. Nice place and was perfect for our trip. Caddisflies made hanging out on the patio at night impossible, but it's a river thing in spring and fall.

Aside from being a little pricey, nothing bad to say about the property itself; it was clean, well appointed for the size, conveniently located, and you cant beat being right on the river. Our 4 rather than 5 star rating has nothing to do with the property as the only drawback were the neighbors immediately next door. They didnt seem to be renters as they were performing active maintenance on the house so it was pretty clear they were the owners. If they happen to be there during your stay, you will be constantly inundated by second hand pot smoke and smell. The owners of Dock Holiday are not to blame and have no control over other people's actions, but if you are unfortunate enough that they are there during your stay, be prepared. It started as soon as they got up in the morning, we explored the river most of the day so can't say it continued throughout the day, but when we returned in the evening, they were on the patio puffing away and the stench continued all evening until they went to sleep. Again, not the fault of the owner of this property but we have 2 young boys that don't need to be exposed to that behavior and it put a damper on an otherwise wonderful stay on the river.
