This house has everything we wanted for a family celebration weekend! We spent our time lazing at the river or hanging out in the downstairs entertainment area. The house is beautiful and is very well appointed if you want to cook. In addition, the yard and river are perfect for entertaining dogs.

2nd annual guys weekend

Love this property! Second time to stay here, it’s perfect for a weekend with the fellas. I love the downstairs area, great spot to catch up with family. The beds were very comfortable, we slept great.

We had a great 4-day stay to rest and relax. We didn’t plan any activities. Brought our own food and groceries. Beds and furniture were excellent and decor was great. I loved the big rocking chairs on the lower patio.

Miller-Valentino Wedding

We had a great stay and the accommodations were perfect for our family. Couldn’t have picked a better location to stay at in preparation for our daughter’s wedding in Weatherford. Perfect retreat

We had the perfect stay at Lazy Bend River Ranch. Peaceful mornings watching the deer in the yard while drinking coffee. We attended a wedding in Brock and this allowed our family to stay in one place and enjoy time together when we were not doing wedding activities. Caught some fish from the river too! Highly recommend.

Secluded getaway spot near the end of a dead end road. Backs up against the Brazos River. Great wrap around porch and downstairs outdoor space. Incredible place. We’ll be back soon!

Beautiful Home

The house was beautiful. Very clean and the decor was great, high end finishes and lots of amenities. The property was great however during our visit the river was incredibly high due to all of the rain so the beach/river was unusable and there were lots of snakes. Not a discredit to the property at all, but between the fire ants and snakes it was not the best for our 1 and 2 year old so keep that in mind when considering. Had it been a group of adults it would have been a perfect spot. The owner was easy to get in touch with and provided lots of information for our stay

The perfect get away from the hustle and bustle

This beautiful home was well stocked and every detail was anticipated. Plenty of room for our family of eight. Very clean, well appointed and a great property. The owners were very responsive and communicated quickly when we experienced a power outage and frozen pipes during our visit (unusually cold weather). There is an amazing firepit, so make sure to purchase firewood before you arrive as were unable to find an open local seller. The property is located on the river, in the middle of farm country, making it a totally relaxing location. The mattresses were like fluffy marshmellows, which my husband loved. I needed more support and found the Queen bed in the bunk room had a more supportive mattress. The dining table was huge making it a great gathering spot. It was nice to have a washer and dryer with provided soaps available. Plenty of spices and other cooking staples provided and as a bonus there was foil, plastic wrap and plastic bags!. One of the best stocked homes we've rented through VRBO. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
