Thanks for the stay

The house is a newer build, modern, and clean. Just outside the development and across the street we found a great place to watch the sunset: a small parking lot next to the tennis courts. Lovely.

Great House & Location!

The beautiful, new house was centrally located and close to the beach. There was plenty of towels and kitchen items, and the washer/dryer was great for our month stay. The host responded promptly to questions and provided helpful information about the area. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next visit!

Great stay

With a larger group, this 3 bedroom with washer and dryer worked well. Looks new and loved the wrap around porch. Beds are comfy and the showers work well for tall people. Thanks!

Week long stay

Not a walkable distance to the beach! You can drive and get there in 5 minutes not walking. Very remote area, was hard only having one car because of the remoteness of the island. House was super clean and beautiful kitchen very functional and saved money on meals by being able to cook.

Great escape

The home is very comfortable with everything you need to feel right at home. The neighborhood is quiet and even though there are passers by from time to time it still feels quite private. And if you need to keep in touch the wifi was really good. A great experience!

The cute blue house

We enjoyed our stay at Sands of Time. It was in a good location & easy to find. The host quickly answered all our questions & provided great suggestions & directions. Just a few tips & notes to share with guests for future stays. The wifi is great! And we loved the wraparound porch where you can sit & hear the relaxing ocean waves. The rooms are spacious & clean.The landscaping out front is new & for now mostly sand which tracks inside the house upon every entry. Bring a sharp knife as the ones provided are not ideal for meal prep Be prepared to be without electric if it rains heavily. It's an island thing! We were without power for 2 nights & could not cook or shower. Highly recommend this rental & hope to stay again soon!

Centrally located home

The house was clean, nicely decorated and well situated for visiting in Eluthera since it is located approximately mid island. It was well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was just my sister and our husbands visiting for the first time so we spent a lot of time exploring Eluthera, Spanish Wells, and Harbor Island. I did report a leak under the master bedroom window after a driving rain and again after a very rainy day. I felt it very important to report this since I own a second home,too, and reporting things like that are important to me, otherwise a nice home could be ruined if rain water sat on the floor for any length of time. It wasn't a big deal for us to mop up the water but what if nobody would be using the house for a while? I did wish there had been a number for us to call since I wasnt sure my messages were getting through on line but I found out later they were. I sent pictures both times just trying to be helpful. We left this nice home as clean as we found it which was pretty much spotless.

Sands of Time - Home for 6 Weeks

We were at Sands of Time Feb 15- Mar 31The house & amenities were as listed except there is an RO water spigot which was a huge benefit for sustaining potable water & ice. We used the tap water for dishes, showers & teeth brushing without issue. We used the RO water for drinking, coffee, cooking & ice. There are 2 ice trays. There was plenty of hot water & excellent pressure. Note: The kitchen knives are REALLY dull.The house was very comfortable with modern & dedicated AC units in the main living area & in each bedroom. There are lots of windows all with screens which was nice on cooler days to open & run the ceiling fans & also gave lots of natural light.The outdoor area was excellent for sun or shade & a great space to enjoy our morning coffee or evening cocktail. We had our dog & the gated outdoor space was excellent for letting him roam yet keep him contained. The neighborhood was very quiet & private & the house is surrounded by heavy vegetation. We enjoyed the endless supply of papaya in the yard.The house is located less than a 3-minute walk to either the Atlantic or the Bight. Beaches are less than a 5-minute drive. There are no beach chairs or umbrella at the house. Renting is possible but very expensive. Locating & purchasing anything is nearly impossible. We purchased 2 chairs in Spanish Wells & then sold them to a rental company before we departed.Communications with the host were timely & always helpful.

The house was clean and spacious. Nice to have the wrap around deck to have sun and shade during the day. The location gave convenient access to beaches on both the Caribbean and Atlantic. Good roads for morning walks in the area. Best to have a rented car for exploring and access to eating places and grocery stores. The owners were very helpful.
