The high elevation, breeze, decks, and pool – while all are features that make this vacation rental unique –expose the occupants to some risks. For this reason, these villa rules apply to all occupants and need to be followed for safety.
GENERAL • Absolutely no smoking or vaping indoors. • Tenants must drop off trash at Cotton Valley Convenience Center. Tenants who leave trash at the villa will be charged an additional fee of $100. • Entry to the pool utility room is not allowed - the pool pump works on a timer and changing the pool pump settings should only be done by a professional.
DOORS • All doors but especially the east-facing doors to the kitchen and to the TV room must be opened with caution especially when it’s windy and should never be left open without being latched open (latches are on the bottom/outside of each door). Gusts of wind can slam unsecured doors shut in ways that could lead to serious injury. • During high winds, a wind tunnel can form in the villa when the east door of the TV room is open on the outside that slams the inside door between the TV room (bedroom 4) and the kitchen shut. For this reason, when the wind is gusting the door between the TV room (bedroom 4) and the kitchen should remain shut.
DECKS • All decks are slippery when wet and guests should walk on decks with shoes or flip-flops to avoid slipping. No running on decks. • No unsupervised children under 15 years old on the east deck (i.e. pool deck). • No leaning over or putting excessive weight on railings throughout the villa decks or balconies. Special caution is needed on the upper-level deck because the railing is made from wood rather than metal. • The upper-level deck has access to the roof via a west-facing bench. No climbing on the roof under any circumstances. And no unsupervised children under 15 years old on the upper-level deck.
POOL • The pool is an infinity pool with a view of the ocean and the hills on the East end of St. Croix. It therefore has a low boundary wall that can be dangerous for children or adults who do not use the pool with caution. • All guests must use the pool carefully and not lean over the edge of the infinity pool. • Absolutely no roughhousing in the pool. • Children under 15 must be supervised at all times in the pool and small children should always be within arm's length and not allowed to play near the ledge of the pool. • Absolutely no glass (e.g. cups, wine glasses, beer bottles, plates, etc.) should be used in or around the pool. Plastic cups and wine glasses are provided so that you can enjoy beverages in the pool without the risk of broken glass.
SEPTIC TANK PROTECTION • No disposal of anything but toilet paper in the toilet, as the villa is on a septic system. • Absolutely no oil or coffee grounds in sink disposal to protect the septic system. The use of sink disposal should be limited. • The rocks on top of the septic tank (located in the yard on the North side of the villa near the Flamboyant tree) should not be disturbed.

I absolutely loved the property, it’s so beautiful and clean. The property manager was amazing,she met us at the airport and made sure we were comfortable driving on the left side of the road. I would definitely come stay here again.

Beautiful spot, well appointed
We enjoyed our stay at Dragonfly Villa very much. The clean, modern aesthetic and the well-appointed kitchen was greatly appreciated. We had a couple hiccups with the property which were quickly resolved by the attentive team. It’s a beautiful location, quiet, cooled by the winds, and has awesome views!

Wonderful stay
We (two couples) really enjoyed our stay. The villa has gorgeous views and is in a very quiet location with lots of privacy. We had everything we needed, and the place was very clean. The pool is so pretty, but it was a little cold when we were there in early March. Rich had us follow him from the airport and showed us around the property when we arrived. He'd even stocked the fridge with groceries we chose from a list, which was so nice to have on arrival. I'd stay here again.

Amazing Views
We loved staying here. The views were amazing. Very private setting and feels safe. The house is huge with three separate suites. We only used a small portion of the home since it was just the three of us. A few minor maintenance items should be addressed but well above average for the USVI. Our only real complaint was the pool temp, its cold! Not sure if the pool has a heater but it sure would be nice to raise the temp to be more useable. However, we did really enjoy the early morning "cold dips". Overall, will definitely consider staying here again!

Friends Get Away
The pictures shown in VRBO were not the same as in person. This place was nice, but needed some lawn care and updates. You could not see the view out of the pool due to overgrown trees. All of the bedrooms were separate entrances. Two of the bedrooms were outside of the main house - this was not in the description. The home was 11 minutes off the main road and the road was broke down and full of pot holes. It was a gated home, but there was an unknown vehicle parked there all week inside the gate. We had to drive our garbage 7 minutes down the road. It would have been nice to have a garbage can at the residence or have someone take care of it for us and included in the price. The living room and kitchen were good size. We appreciated our host Rich as he replied quickly to our questions.
