I am glad the location was just right for you and your group and our staff takes pride in being helpful and friendly, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I also want to apologize for the two maintenance issues you reported. When issues do come up it is difficult to replace items like the handle of a refrigerator on the same day it happened, unfortunately we had to order the part and it was not fixed in time for your stay. Both issues have been fixed and the condo is back in excellence condition, as I am sure you experienced, this is a great condo. When you return to South Padre Island I hope you look us up, we will be happy to see you again. I also want to note that I am not sure where the mention of free coffee was listed, we do not have that amenity listed on our page. I apologize is there was any confusion on this. I hope you were able to visit some of our great coffee shops while you were here, one of my favorites is Captain Donuts. Again, thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Hi Karen! Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to host your South Padre Island vacation. We're sorry to hear your experience wasn't up to par. We just inspected the unit and replaced the missing panels, broom and mop. We are going to address the smell in the drawers, not sure what could have caused that, perhaps the previous guest left their wet clothes in there a little too long - but rest assured, we'll get it taken care of. We really appreciate your feedback when it comes to these kinds of things - it helps us in knowing what our guests are experiencing during their stay. We want to make sure our guests are happy from the moment they check-in, to the moment they check-out. We will use your feedback to reach out the cleaning staff to make sure they're properly addressing sand build-up. Luis, thank you for this great review. Gulfview #211 is a great condo and many of our guests say the same as you. It is a great value when bringing your family on vacation to South Padre Island.
