Located in the Wilmington Downtown Historic District , this historical home is loaded with charm and elegance. Our goal in offering this home to you is to bring you the character of our early 1900’s home , while still giving you modern conveniences and comfort.

Throughout this home you will find the charm of a home built turn of the century such as a beautiful Keeping Room, hardwood floors along with modern amenities to help you relax and enjoy your time.

This property was as described. It was lovely, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the outside fenced in area and the large porches front and back. It was an easy walk to many downtown places. Parking was easy on the street. The host was very responsive with communication.

The location and comfort of this house were fabulous! It’s in a quiet neighborhood but only 3 blocks from the river and all of the restaurants and shops there. Having the shady fenced backyard was so convenient as we brought our small dog. The house is beautiful and feels just like home. We can’t say enough good things about it. Looking forward to our next stay.

Beautiful house!

This house is such an adorable historical house in downtown wilmington. It looks just like the pictures and the neighborhood is quiet. It is also in a great location downtown and is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The host was attentive and prompt. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this property.

Can’t say enough great things about this home! It is extremely well maintained and was spotless when we checked in. Location is perfect and loved being able to walk to the river-walk every day. Look forward to renting again next time we are in the area!

Got screwed after exiting

cleaners falsely reported a stain on a rug and assessed us 150 for sleeping on the pull out couch. NOWHERE were we notified that the PULL OUT COUCH was not for sleeping on. There was a note in that room saying no pets or kids in the room. We honored that.They also claimed we stained towels and rugs in bath (rugs had absolutely NO stains.) and towels are white and came clean with tide and a little bleach. I have white hair and took a bath using purple shampoo. There was a ring in the fiberglass tub (NOT STAINED) it wiped as easily as a dirt ring. I didn't know i had to clean the tub- i paid a hefty cleaning fee. I called Craig twice to try to discuss their false claims and he never called me back.

We loved everything about this home. It was charming and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, though we didn’t cook as much as we thought. The property was very clean. Linens and towels were excellent quality. We enjoyed quiet time on the porch and the screened back porch - beautiful serene yard. The home was in close proximity to great restaurants and the river - where we had activities to attend all weekend. The owner was also very responsive.

Church Street Charmer

My husband, our Sheltie “Riley” and I stayed for four beautiful days while visiting Wilmington to attend a wedding. This lovely property was spotlessly clean, generously (and imaginatively) provisioned and furnished with an excellent balance of gracious elegance and comfort. It became our restful oasis between events. We loved it!

Wonderful place to stay!!

This home was perfect! We enjoyed it immensely. It was clean and so homey. The owners updated the most important rooms - the kitchen and the two baths beautifully, yet kept some historic charm throughout the house. Beautiful area to walk as well. Very happy we chise this rental!

Fantastic stay!

Great house in a great location! Very clean and had everything we needed and more. Very easy walk to shops and restaurants. Only small request would be curtains in the bedroom because the mornings were bright. But no other issues at all. Loved our stay here and we’ll be back!

Beautiful Wilmington Home

Beautiful home in a great location. Lots of restaurants and shops we could walk too. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The beaches were a short drive away. Off street parking but we had no issues. Will definitely stay here again

Wonderful home

It's was beautiful!!! Close to everything downtown. Could also walk if it was warmer while we there. Only downside is no driveway and there was always a car parked directly in front of house. We were there 4 days and always a car directly in front. So that was a bummer. Other than that it was wonderful.

Historical Wilmington Gem

A beautifully restored home just a couple of blocks from the Riverwalk. The homeless clean and updated. The backyard was perfect for our dog. We were able to run and walk the riverfront as well as enjoy great food and coffee. It was good to be back in Wilmington and we are grateful we found such a wonderful home to stay.

Great location! Very close to historic downtown Wilmington and walkable to many restaurants and bars, and the boardwalk. The house was huge and clean with tons of amenities. We highly recommend this house!

Nice and safe neighborhood in a 100 year old home!Great location, and near the River. Home is very comfortable and well supplied. Responsive off site manager!Do not fail to eat at Olivero Italian restaurant, 2 blocks away!

Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and still has a lot of the details from the time period. The backyard is fenced and the dogs enjoyed exploring. The location is in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and river walk.

My wife (Char) and I manage the rental of this home for our lifelong friends Ron and Carol who live out of state and use this as a vacation home until they retire. They have furnished the home for themselves so you will not find some of the shortcuts you often find in investment properties. The master bedroom is locked off with the owners personal possessions but the rest of the house is included with your stay. My wife and I have been renting our own home for several years and have learned how to make your experience enjoyable and not corporate. You will access the home electronically so you will never see us unless you request to. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
