This delightful beach bungalow sits on a spacious lot with plenty of outside space for the whole family. This inside is bright & cheerful with bright and tasteful beach decor. Bungalow on 5TH is the perfect space to bring friends & family together. Located just a 3 minute walk from the Kure Beach boardwalk, several beach accesses, the Kure Beach Fishing Pier & Shop, 3 restaurants and a coffee shop. Just a few minutes drive to historic Fort Fisher & Carolina Beach Boardwalk. There is surely something to please all ages and interests here on Pleasure Island.

Great location!

Quiet neighborhood. Short walk down to uncrowded beach. House had everything we needed. Easy check in and check out. Able to walk to pier, restaurants, etc. Loved the quietness of Kure Beach. Close to numerous attractions. Highly recommend!

Great little house 5 min walk to the beach

The house was really cute and comfortable with a nice, well stocked kitchen. It was literally 5 minutes of a strolling walk from the house to toes in the sand. Very private and quiet and very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Veteran's Victorious Getaway

The outside of the home was colorful and the door combination worked great. The inside was breathtaking and the layout waa even better. The entire process and stay was great from start to finish. We could not have been any happier with our choice.

Wonderful quiet retreat

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house was wonderful. Had everything we needed. It was easy to walk to the beach or the restaurants. The best park was how quiet the beach was. There were always a few families, but nothing like other beaches. Thanks for letting us stay!

Perfect location

This cottage was great for our girls trip to Kure Beach. The house had all the essentials we 5 women needed, including comfy beds. Easy access to everything we wanted to do, but thankfully seemed much quieter than Carolina Beach. An easy walk to the Kure Beach pier, even for me (the grandma of the group!)

The bungalow on 5th was perfect! Just a short walk to the beach or pier. It was a lovely little home. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing that I felt could be better was the size of the beds. I thought when I booked the stay that 2 of the rooms showed queen size, but I may have overlooked that part. Either way, the 2 rooms with the larger beds seem to be full sized beds and it was very uncomfortable fitting 2 adults on them.

Great location, walking distance to everything in Kure Beach. GREAT communication, had a small hiccup but it was very quickly handled. Highly recommend this property! Considering reserving for future trips!

New Years in Kure

Although we live locally, the location and price was perfect for peace of mind. We have two “children” in their 20’s so it was nice to be safe while celebrating the new year. Pet friendly was key for us as we love our dogs and are as much a part of the family as I am. If you want a place close to the action (beach, pier, Kure Proper, and all that the island has to offer) this place is it.

38th Wedding Anniversary Vacation

This is a beautiful property. Beautifully decorated and so close to everything. I always bring some necessary things with us, this place had everything you need. Just bring clothes and your fishing gear. The ferry to Southport is about a 3-mile drive down the main road. There are restaurants everywhere. The only thing that we took issue with is that our planning was off, it was also Spring Break. I will definitely stay here again if the owners will have us.
