Beautiful view from our balcony! Bed was super comfy! Space was perfect for our needs. Wish the roads had a sidewalk or better space to get down the hill, but that's nothing on the host, just an fyi for future guests. The hosts were awesome. Totally accessible, very friendly. Space was clean and perfectly comfy for our week. We would definitely stay again!!!

Tropical Paradise with Unbeatable Location.We had an incredible stay in Cruz Bay! The location was perfect — just a short walk to the ferry, shops, and amazing restaurants. The property was spotless, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated with a tropical vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the best trip. St John is beautiful. We were able to walk to town every night. The hill walk was a workout but we like the exercise. The owner was the best and always answered quickly helped with advice on the island. We really didn’t spend much time in the room because 
 why would you when you are on a beautiful island?

This listing should be 'studio', not one bedroom. The only separated room is the bathroom. We could not enter the property for 30 minutes (after a long day of travel) due to a door malfunction. They eventually had to send a handyman. The refrigerator did not work-probably needs coolant. Lacking in some basics: only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 people for a week, no salt and pepper etc. The tv would frequently not connect to wifi-I had to manually go in and set each time we tried to watch. Others have mentioned the hill to walk from town. Yes, it's pretty brutal in the heat and no sidewalks. I will say the property was very clean, pretty close walk to town and the people with whom I interacted regarding all the problems were very nice and fairly responsive. However, I probably would not stay at this property again.

There is some deception with this listing. The Vrbo app shows it in town. After you click the listing it takes you to another page where you read about it and book. 3 days before my trip i was sent the address of my unit and that was .4 miles away from where i thought i would be staying in town. You can walk from town to get there but it's sketchy, all uphill with no side walks.

Great place

This is a very nice place to stay that is in a great location for anyone healthy and able to walk the short hill up from the beaches. Initially, our room had not been cleaned. However the manager was quick to respond and gave us a different unit to stay in for the first night. The unit we had most of the stay was safe and had an individual porch. Some other units share one porch and have poorly secured back patio doors. No reason not to stay here, just something to be aware of so you can prepare appropriately. Also many cute frogs in the front plants!

A nice break from the cold weather

We wanted to visit Saint John and found the listing online. The apartment seemed appropriate for our needs and the rate advertised was acceptable. Immediately upon going to the next step in the booking process, roughly 75% was added to the base rate for taxes and fees for a three day stay. To that, trip insurance and damage waiver fees were added.While enroute to Saint Thomas, we attempted to obtain information from the host relative to arriving at and checking in for our stay. After numerous attempts to obtain the details and unkept promises that they were coming right away, we finally received it while standing in the baggage claim area in the Saint Thomas airport. Much of the information came in the form of long and complicated URL codes that were sent in text form and not as usable links. The VRBO app does not support copy and paste on my iPhone and the host’s representatives refused to send the links to me in an email so I would be able to paste them into a browser to enable access to the information.Once we arrived at our destination, we were NOT able to enter the apartment unit using the code we were provided, necessitating several more exchanges with the host’s representatives. This resulted in receipt of a different code that did give us access to the apartment.We found the apartment to be clean, tastefully furnished and decorated. We do feel that the air conditioning unit is woefully undersized to cool the space comfortably;especially after the unit is o
