Good location, great communication with the manager/owner, the only reason we didn’t give it a five is there was a sharp smell in the unit. Not sure if it had been used in a while or if it had something to do with the drains or whatever but definitely was a notice. We aired it out the first night and it seemed to get better.

Fantastic location, Great Property

We stayed over a long weekend as a family of 4 (mom, dad, kids 9&6) our dog. The house was exactly as described and was very clean upon arrival. The location was perfect for our itinerary of Kauffman field (banana ball!) and the zoo. It was also easy driving to restaurants and shops on the OP side. Jesse was a great host and made sure we had all we needed. Backyard was great for the kids and dog, with also an amazing park walking distance from the house. Would book again!

Clean property with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. Quiet neighborhood close to many shops. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues as there is an uneven sidewalk and steep front door steps. Also no grab bars in a slippery shower.

Updated Prairie Village House

Updated and very comfortable Prairie Village house that is on a quiet street and walking distance to Prairie Village pool. Within a 15 min drive to the Plaza and major highways makes it a great location to stay in KC. House has everything you need for your stay, including a pack and play for families with younger kids. Owner was easy to work with and accommodated us when we asked for an early check-in. Overall great experience.

Perfect house for a busy weekend

The house worked perfectly for our needs. It was clean and comfortable. We would have appreciated the sidewalk from the driveway to the front door being clear of snow and debris as we arrived after it was dark out. And a blind over the window in the living room would have helped with a sense of privacy/kept some of the warmth in as it was very cold out and the bare window made it slightly drafty. But the kitchen was easy to use, the neighborhood felt safe, the beds and couches were comfortable and communication with the host was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay, the house is well suited for a home away from home. I would stay here again in the future.

Surgery Recovery

Worked well for surgery recovery. Close to Advent Hospital, grocery store, and pharmacy. A bit drafty during the snow storm, but the heating system is very good. Laundry in basement worked well. Water is hot and showers were good. TV is good. Bring your streaming passwords to get your TV subscriptions. Furniture is adequate. The house was stocked well with paper goods, kitchen ware, towels, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, etc. The beds are OK, with a firm king in master, a softer queen and a firm queen in the other bedrooms. Comfortable sleep. Get a bag of ice on your way in. The little park across the street was good for walks. The old house has pretty hardwood floors that squeak and creak like grandma’s house. That part is both charming and annoying. Overall, our stay was good. We would stay here again.On the needs some attention list, the yard needs to be cleaned up. Walking through deep leaves and yard debris makes it impossible to not track in to the house. Neighbors are nice, but they are frustrated with the yard mess too. The cleanliness of the house was OK, but should dust mop under the vanities and other tight places. It’s bad under there. Our review is meant to be complete and fair, but not to dis the property. Again, our stay was good and we would use it again.
