Cute 3 BR, 1.5 Ba home. Full kitchen,1.5 mi to ND stadium!

We are a Notre Dame family and use this property often, and now we'd love for you to come enjoy our home away from home! This 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath home has everything you need, including a well-stocked kitchen with a full size refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and microwave plus a washer and dryer. And, of course, we have a coffemaker and Kuerig machine for your mornings. In the afternoon and evenings, relax in one of two separate sitting areas: a Notre Dame- themed family room with a 50inch TV as well as a more spacious front sitting area warmed by natural lighting. There is also a dedicated dining room. You can easily sleep six people in the three modest-sized bedrooms. Each bedroom hosts a queen bed and plenty of extra blankets for the colder months. The property has a spacious front and side yard and also sits across from a community playground so there is ample green space to throw around a football. The house has a driveway and plenty of street parking as well. If you are coming into town for a football game, it is a walkable 1.5 miles to the stadium on a well-lit route. (It is just under 2miles to the dome). We welcome any questions you might have and are available for a variety of events in and around Notre Dame, St. Mary's, Holy Cross, and the broader South Bend area, but please know we have a firm no smoking, no pets policy. We look forward to your stay!

Great home for a ND visit

This was a great little house for our Notre Dame football weekend visit. Close to campus- you could walk if you wanted to. Super clean & comfortable for our family of 6. Owner was welcoming and quick to respond to our questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fun ND football weekend

The house was immaculate and well equipped for a short stay, easy check in/out, and good proximity to the ND football stadium, retail, and food choices. The pictures were accurate and the host was very pleasant and easy to communicate with.

Great stay near campus

This house was the perfect stay for a group of friends in town for a game. We took an Uber to the stadium and pickup was barely 5 minutes, and then walked back afterwards. The area is safe and very walkable, the house itself is adorable and had every amenity we needed. Jill was a wonderful host who replied quickly to messages and even allowed us to check in early on our arrival date to make our stay easier. 5 out of 5 stars would recommend this to anyone interested in a quaint, comfy stay in South Bend.

Comfortable house and excellent location

We loved our stay in this cute house for our son's graduation from Notre Dame. The location is amazing. The neighborhood felt safe and the proximity to ND was fantastic- a long walk or a very short drive. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was impeccably clean. The house is a ranch with 1 full and 1 half bathrooms. It was nice and convenient to have the 2nd bathroom. The two living spaces are a decent size as well. The host communicated great all along the way and the kitchen had items we could use like coffee and a Keurig. We would highly recommend this house and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We are proud parents of a Notre Dame student and love visiting South Bend to see both our student and the campus. We have 3 kids and regularly use VBROs when traveling. Having a kitchen and some extra "space" to relax after long and adventurous days made traveling so much more fun and manageable for our family. For this reason, it made sense for us to have a home away from home to enjoy when visiting Notre Dame. Our family stays in this home often. We visit for select football games of course, but have also celebrated holidays here and stayed for long weekends to spend a little extra time with our student. We love this beautiful gem of a home, and we hope you will too!

We love the location of the house due to its proximity to Notre Dame and ease of access to all that Mishiwaka has to offer. We also love the residential neighborhood with ample parking, a community playground, and a walking path.

We love the two sitting areas in this home, which allows groups of families or friends to decide how to relax. (For example, in our family, mom gets to relax in the front room while the kids watch TV in the back room!) The family room is beautifully decorated with a Notre Dame theme, while the front sitting area has a spacious window that fills the room with natural lighting.
