A family dream home with water views and a very short walk to a glorious private beach within the association. In essence, this is two homes within one; an newer primary home and a connected second home that is affectionately known as “The Cottage”. The home includes 2 full and well-appointed kitchens, 8 bedrooms (9 beds), a beautiful master bedroom with new ensuite bathroom with a large soaker tub. This home is a perfect getaway for a large group or two families. Enjoy all the perks including a beautiful stone fireplace, a wood burning stove, a large outdoor back porch and yard with natural gas grill, an in ground fire pit, beautiful water views, and the quiet feeling of being in the woods. Continuing on from the backyard is a set of wooden stairs that lead down to a short pathway that takes you to the beach and the clear stunning waters of Lake Michigan! This beach is only shared with the association and is very private. This fabulous property is less than a five-minute drive to downtown Harbor Springs, a five-minute drive (in the other direction) to Pond Hill Farm, and very well located to access all the other great areas (Petoskey, Mackinac Island, ski areas, golf courses, etc.). Don't miss out on this amazing spot for your next vacation!

The cottage was wonderful for our large family nicely decorated and very comfortable - my kids and grandkids loved the extra space and the two kitchens. The cottage was well stocked with towels and beach chairs and kids toys and games. The outside living space was wonderful and the best part was easy access to the gorgeous beach! Loved our stay!

Perfect Michigan Getaway

My family and I had a lovely stay at this Harbor Springs home. The location was great, and its proximity to a wonderful beach was terrific for a family with children. The owner’s attentiveness and communication was really appreciated, and we found the home to be well stocked and designed for a family gathering. A perfect setting for a memorable extended family vacation.

Location is excellent. Access to private beach is better than described. We rented two kayaks locally. Delivery was very easy and convenient.Our host was very accessible and nice. We asked about a fire for s’mores. She had everything we needed delivered to our front door, including a bouquet of flowers.We did have one negative comment. The master bedroom shower is a free standing tub with a shower curtain surrounding the tub. It was difficult for an elderly person to get in and out of. My wife and I ended up using the first floor shower which worked great.Overall, a really great place for our three kids, three spouse and six grandkids. We plan to go back next summer..

Great Home/Cottage in Beautiful Harbor Springs

I had a group of 12 women and we were happy with the accommodations, amenities and location! Short walk to beach, great back yard, and Patio. Bedrooms in cottage were small and some no dressers, but it worked out. We also wished bathroom had a cabinet instead of just sink, but we made things work. And Thanks to host for are welcoming gift for smores and nice cutting board !!

Thank you for your review! We wanted to let you know we have updated the two bathrooms in the cottage house top to bottom and they are brand new with ample storage! We also purchased two more dressers so every bedroom has dressers! We appreciate your feedback and are so happy you all had such a lovely time!

Beautiful summer home

This is a beautiful summer home. The location to the beach is wonderful. ( There are stairs to descend to get to the beach so be aware traveling with children or elderly) The house has so much character. We loved the little touches the owner has added to make it feel comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to our questions.( We asked about a slow cooker and she had one delivered.) I was also concerned about the upstairs bedrooms being too warm and she had 3 additional fans delivered immediately. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Excellent location- 200 steps to a beautiful beach where you can walk for miles. 5 minutes to grocery store. Quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean, beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Having the 2nd small kitchen was perfect for beverages. The children enjoyed the basement games but we had a perfect week of sunshine so spent most time outdoors. The outside seating area is well shaded. There are lots of beach toys, chairs and towels. The cottage half of the house (5 bedrooms) has AC; the newer half with 3 upstairs bedrooms has fans so was warm if evenings didn’t cool off. Overall a 5 star experience!
