Holden Our Flip Flops heated pool, putting green and short walk to beach

Welcome to Holden Our Flip Flops! This beautifully decorated home will feel like your home away from home. The home was built in 2022 and brand new to the rental market this spring/summer 2024. Spend time lounging at the pool with plenty of fun to be had for all! Enjoy some putting time around the green or cornhole or even better enjoy both! You can sip your morning coffee or evening beverage on the front porch watching boats go by across the street on the intercoastal waterway. On the back porch watch the skies for several different varieties of ocean birds while they fly and fish in the protected marsh area.

The house is about 3/4 mile to the nearest beach access. Walking time from driveway to beach access is 9 minutes. If you rent a golf cart it's about a 2 minute drive.

When not lounging at the beach or by the pool you can enjoy a game night in or stream your favorite show or movie on one of the 4 tvs. When you're ready to head out and explore Holden Beach you can look for the "Holden Golden" mailboxes. There are 3, East End, West End and Sailfish Park (this is nearest the house). There is also the Holden Beach Pavilion and Fishing Pier where you can check out the summer concert series! This is next to the park with swings, slides, small kid water splash, basketball, tennis and of course Pickleball.

We are a Sunday - Sunday rental.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
CLEAN and PUT AWAY all dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc Pull the sheets from the beds (EXCLUDING THE TOP BUNKS) and place them in the laundry room
Bathroom linens are provided through a linen company. For Departure please return all bath towels (1 towel, 1 hand towel, 1 washcloth per person) to the bag and place the bag on the back porch
All kitchen towels and bedding are owned by us and washed in house. Please do not put any bedding or kitchen towels in the bag.

Great layout and amenities for a busy family!

We loved our stay! The kids really enjoyed the pool and we liked how close we were to the beach and the ICW for fishing and kayaking. Great spot overall, and Shannon is a great host!

This is a great stay for families. The pool is perfect sized, short walk to the beach, and beautiful finishing within the house. Plenty of items provided such as umbrellas, pool toys, beach chairs, wagon etc if needed.

Perfect place to get away from it all

Located in a quiet culdesac along the ICW, this was a perfect, peaceful getaway for my husband and I. I thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and natural surroundings. Close enough to walk to the beach, I also enjoyed biking to the local coffee shop. The house is incredibly clean and beautifully maintained, it seems like new. Hope to return soon!

We had a great week! The house is well equipped and has a great layout for enjoying everyones company. The pool was awesome for afternoon swims and the umbrellas on the pool deck are a huge plus! Great place to relax!

This newer property is in a great location. It is a private spot where you can enjoy the pool on site and never see another person. The beach is an easy walk and the views from the porches are great. The house has a new feel, the decorations and amenities are well done. Communication and check in/out from the host was easy. Great stay and would definitely visit again!

I love how welcoming everything was. It is such a nice house with lots of added amenities! I loved having umbrellas, cart, and chairs provided and charcoal for the grill provided as well. The only downside was the distance to the beach, but for our age group, it was fine. The nice backyard was a plus too! Definitely recommend

Well stocked!

We really appreciated how well stocked this property was! We didn’t have to run out right away for toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, sponges or trash bags as anticipated. Not to mention how cutely decorated the house is! The public beach access is just across the main road so the walk to the beach was not bad. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Better than expected

This home was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils, pots and pans. The pool was clean and warm( weather was chilly so we utilized the heater). We rented bikes and a golf cart to go back and forth to the beach access. We plan to stay here again in the near future!

Incredible experience

The house exceeded all of our expectations. It was roomy with great views, fantastic amenities, & everything we could need for our stay. The walk down to the beach was easy. It took us less than 10 minutes. The owner was very friendly & helpful as well. Highly recommend.
