Luxury Gulf Front Villa!

Beach Villa Sunset Dreams is a recently richly remodeled and appointed townhome with tropical beach dĂ©cor for an unforgettable family vacation. The Villa is unique, with awe-inspiring direct gulf views and amazing sunsets, as well as sunrise views over the bay. The property includes exclusive access to over 380 feet of Gulf beach frontage, deep-water direct access boating, lush landscaping, and a large tropical pool with spa, all shared by only 4 other Villas. Luxury awaits you in this 2400 sq. ft. three bedroom, two and a half bath home. Upgrades include granite, marble and glass tile, an elevator, five flat screen televisions, four DVD players, two Wii play stations, high-speed wireless internet, iPod docking stations, and all high-end appliances. The upper level has a large master bedroom that features a King Bed, a modern bathroom with glass and ceramic tile, dual head shower, two-person spa tubs, and a private screened veranda. There is also a work desk area to accommodate your laptop equipped with two monitors and a printer. The first level includes two guest bedrooms, one with a King Bed and the other with four bunk beds (one with a lower double bed), both with a screened veranda. The Villa contains many book selections to read and several children’s games for enjoying your vacation. Guests also enjoy a BBQ grill area and a boat dock complete with power and water. Sunset Dreams is a part of the five-unit Captiva Beach Villas on the highly desired "Tween Waters" stretch, which is walking distance to Captiva Village, and can accommodate up to 8 people.

Perfect

This location is perfect. Right across the street from the beach. Sunsets every night from the balcony. And a semi-private pool for the heat of the day! We will be back.

Dreams really do come true!!!

We had a wonderful week in Captiva and LOVED your home, Sunset Dreams! Our entire family felt very comfortable in your home and we didn't want to leave :) Your home is equipped with everything a family could possibly want or need while on vacation. It was a nice touch to walk into the home and find the air conditioning cool, the music on the tv playing and a gift basket on the kitchen counter. We enjoyed all the goodies it contained....my husband and I drank that bottle of wine on the master balcony one night as we watched the sun set. We also really appreciated the wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels that were all ready to go! We also appreciated the well equipped kitchen since we prepared a lot of our own meals. This house was a great find and we will definitely recommend this home rental to others and hope to return one day ourselves.

A dream vacation!!!!

This was truly a dream location. The Townhome was beautiful...so much attention to detail! It was plenty big enough for my husband and I , our two daughters, a son-in-law and our 20 month old grandaughter. We loved every minute! The proximity to the beach and to town was great. The time of year was also great...since the crowds were gone. The sunsets were amazing and seen from the two front decks on the house. The house completely stocked with the latest appliances. Such a nice touch was a basket of goodies at arrival! We'd love to do this again!!!

Great Rental

My wife and 5 kids spent a week at Sunset Dreams. We were very happy with the property. The property is exceptionally well appointed. It is more like a private residence than a rental in this sense. I am a serious cook and found the kitchen to have everything imaginable. There is a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. There is a wagon with high quality beach chairs... I loved the location also. The beach is a very short walk across the street. It is also only a 10 minute walk down the beach into town.

Amazing from beginning to end!

This has taken me forever to write this review, but I felt it necessary. This was the most amazing place we have ever been! We are not rich, but have money to travel and enjoy nice vacations. This house had it all! It is homey, cozy, immaculate, gorgeous, has insane sunset views and is feet from the beach. I thought that having a Wii system with guitar hero was a bit silly, because why would you ever want to stay inside? Boy, was I wrong! My whole family enjoyed that system after being burned out after long days outside. My kids, 11 and 12 years old, loved the bunk beds and the sacs to relax on. The wagon with beach gear was a welcome necessity. We enjoyed walking the town, restaurants, and the hermit crab races at Tween Waters Inn. Going to Hawaii this year because my husband needs to go for work, but next year it will be back to Sunset Dreams! Thanks Dan for an amazing experience. I second all of the other reviewers positive comments that I don't have time to write. We didn't want to leave!!! I had high expectations because of the price and location, and this exceeded them all.

Sunset Dreams was true to its name

Sunset Dreams was true to its name. Dan's home on Captiva was a wonderful experience for our extended family vacation. I was looking for a home to accommodate four generations of my family – our parents in their 80’s, my sister and I, my niece and husband in their 30’s, a 3 year old and infant. We all enjoyed the spectacular beach on the gulf, views and amenities. The toughest decision we had to make in the morning was whether to hit the beach first or head to the pool and jacuzzi in the tropical oasis behind the house; most days we’d do both several times! The proximity of the villa to the beach or pool for the elders and youngsters was invaluable. The red wagon to transport chairs, umbrellas and sand toys was so thoughtful and just an example of the amenities. Nice having the shower near the garage area to rinse off the salt and sand and a gas BBQ by the pool area. The house comfortably fit 8 and had great spaces in the house to retreat to read, hang out, watch tv or play videos games without disturbing others in the group. In no way felt crowded. We loved walking on the beach, finding conch and gorgeous seashells. This section of the beach is quiet and full of wildlife. We were fortunate enough to see dolphins passing nearly daily and even watched them swim by us about 20 feet away one afternoon. Excellent bird watching too (Pelicans, sandpipers). The beach is great for all ages and shallow for quite a bit for easy swimming. We rented stand-up paddle boards from YOLO to which you could walk on the beach. We’d have coffee on the rear 3rd floor lanai early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the palm trees on the bayside, lunched on the 2nd floor lanai in the shade, and in the evening watched the sun just melt into the gulf from either of the front porches or on the beach just steps across the road from the house. We even stargazed from the new porch on the upper level which the neighboring villas don’t have. The kitchen design was so well thought out and appointed we ended up going out just once the first night as we didn’t have supplies. We had a great time cooking together, which was actually less stressful than going to a restaurant with a party of 8. Nearby restaurants include Mucky Duck or Bubble Room to name a few.The location and house exceeded expectations - I will definitely be eturning.

Incredible Anniversary Trip

We couldn't have asked for a more spectacular stay for our anniversary than Sunset Dreams. First, let me say that Dan Sierra has been the best owner I have ever worked with. Having said that, Sunset Dreams is a wonderful accomodation and couldn't have a better location. Having coffee for sunrises on the bayside lanais and then wine for the sunsets on the ocean front decks can't be beat. The whole esperience was top rate from beginning to finish.

Beautiful beach, beautiful home for a family

This was our second trip to Captiva for a family vacation including a toddler. Captiva is a great fit for any family looking for fun, relaxation and a beautiful environment. We will continue to come and Sunset Dreams will be where we stay. The location is excellent with beach access and a short walk to restaurants and recreational options. It has many great spaces, particularly the master bedroom deck and the bay side verandas. The property us very well maintained with multiple areas for a group of 6-8 to gather. We pre-ordered our groceries from Jerry's which was very helpful. For $25 dollars they shop, deliver and put away your groceries. There is a nice set of beach supplies(chairs, umbrellas, cooler, wagon and toys included. We added a few more rental chairs, crib and a child's tent from Island Rentals. They had great service as well dropping off and picking up the rental equipment. Plenty of good choices of restaurants. R C Otters and Key Lime Bistro a toss up for our favorite.

Favorite Family Vacation
EVER

Sunset Dreams was everything it promised it would be! We took our two grown daughters, son in law, 2 year old granddaughter and friend. The condo was perfect! It was super clean with great beds and linens, big bathrooms, perfect kitchen. It had everything we needed to make our vacation stress-less. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out and there was plenty of space for us all to be together when we wanted to hang out inside (which was only first thing in the morning and late in the evening). The views are amazing! Every evening we spent on the beach watching the sun go down. Absolutely the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen. The condo is a very short walk across a narrow, quiet road to the beach. This was important to us as we knew we would want to go back and forth from beach to condo every day without a hike. It took less than a minute to walk from condo to our beach set up! Captiva is a VERY short drive or a quick walk from condo. That was nice also. We saw several other properties while we were there but we would not have chosen any other. Sunset Dreams is perfect! Perfect condo in the perfect location. If you are wanting a lot of action, this area of the beach is not for you. It was very peaceful and quiet. Almost like having the entire place to ourselves. The pool is also very close to the condo and was quiet. The owner suggested several things to do, places to eat, etc. That was very helpful. We ordered groceries from Jerry's in Sanibel and had them delivered the day we arrived. We also ordered beach equipment from Island Rentals which was all waiting for us when we arrived. Although, the condo provides a lot of beach stuff we could have used. We rented a "coupe" from YOLO in Captiva as well as Stand Up Paddle Boards. The Island Store in Captiva has everything you would need also in the way of groceries, etc. They also had some very good homemade pastries! The guys went on two different fishing trips out of Ft Myers and had lots of fun. It was just a super easy, fun, relaxing vacation! Kingfisher property managers were very helpful before and after the trip. We didn't need a thing during our vacation. I will recommend this property and Captiva to all my friends. Thank you, Dan and Kingfisher for allowing us to stay in Sunset Dreams and helping to make our Summer 2014 vacation a memorable one! Hopefully you will allow us back!

Family Vacation in Perfect Location

I was looking for a place to take my family on a beach vacation. My Mom recently passed away & her leaving us took a toll on our entire family. I wanted my family to spend a week together having the time of our lives & creating memories we could always remember & cherish. I took my 33 year old son & his girlfriend, my 37 year old son, his wife & their 2 year son. My husband is 60. This place was perfect for the wide span in ages we have in our family. We had a perfect view of the sunset from the upstairs & downstairs balconies. The beach was so close it was perfect. With the wagon and beach chairs provided, going to the beach with a 2 year old was made easy. In the morning I watched the sunrise from my back veranda or walked to the dock on the bay at the back side of the property. I cannot say enough about the location which was perfect. Water on both sides & sunset & sunrise views! The property was beautiful with a very nice pool & jacuzzi. The upstairs master suite was a special retreat for my husband & me. Everything you could think of the owner has provided. There was internet access, a desk & work station, a shower with dual shower heads, a large tub & of course the views.... There was a large table on the back veranda downstairs where we all got together also & enjoyed the view of the palm trees. This place was well appointed & will not disappoint. Plenty of room so we were not on top of each other & beautifully decorated. Great views from every room! The owner helped me with planning the trip by providing me with a rental company who delivered a crib & other items for the 2 year old. He gave me tips on where to rent bikes, etc. Dan and Kingfisher vacations were awesome! Quick to respond and very helpful. My tips for your trip: - Check out all the toys in the storage shed at back of car port before buying things like pool toys and boogie boards. Even a special screen with handle for shell collecting. - Take the flashlights that you will find in the villa & go to the beach at night. Watch the crabs run :) - Snails come out at night by pool walk way. - Go dancing at "The Key lime Bistro". Fun place. - Eat at "RC Otters", great wait staff & great food. - Join the crowd that comes to watch the sunset at the "Mucky Duck". - Rent a pontoon boat & go to Cabbage Key Island for lunch. We saw so many dolphins on the way that came right up to our boat! - Go kayaking & see manatees. We saw dolphins, stingray, pelicans, manatees... Enjoy! We did, thx Dan!

Family Vacation, Wife's 40th Birthday Celebration, (SUP) Stand Up Paddleboardering adventures

Dan, We had an amazing week staying at your beautiful home. My only regrets are that we couldn't stay longer and that it has taken me a couple of months to write a review. We have four active children, ages 5, 7, 9, and 11 and this was the perfect home and the perfect vacation. For our first couple of days the gulf was extremely calm, and all of us enjoyed diving for shells as we snorkeled and paddleboarded in the gulf. Saw a handful of stingrays, fish, etc.. but pulled up a ton of beautiful shells, before they had a chance to wash ashore. As the wind kicked up a bit the small swell was wonderful for the kids and I to ride the waves on their SUP's and boogie boards. For the remainder of the week, depending on wind direction we spent all our time on the sound side (Pine Island Sound) exploring the canals that lead to and from Braynerd Bayou on our SUP's. It's an easy paddle over and the canals with their mangrove trees alive with crabs were wonderful to explore. We paddled among 6 - 8 Manatees on the way to or from the Bayou each day. The manatees were very curious and friendly like a golden retriever. We also saw several dolphins, small hammerhead sharks, rays, and more fish leap out of the air than I can possibly count and too many birds to mention. The kids felt so adventuresome paddling with ease through the tight canals and Bayou - it's truly another world! The accomodations are exactly as advertised - truly a spectacular place! The kids room, wii, pool, throwing rocks to knock down the coconuts across the street, shelling, wildlife - it all was a great adventure - Thank you for everything.

Piece of Paradise

We can't say enough about this property. In person is even more spectacular than the photos. The owner is very easy to work with and they have thought of everything you could possibly need or want. You won't find more comfortable surroundings, feeling at home from the moment you arrive. You have the best of everything-ocean on one side of the townhome to watch dolphins and go shelling, the bay on the backside with a boat dock for fishing and watching the manatees. A beautiful pool is right outside your door so you won't be lacking things to do. Make sure you rent bikes so you can enjoy Captiva and Sanibel. Such a beautiful island and we'll be sure to return to this home!

The amazing villa

I stayed in this villa on the 21 st of august and it is a really nice place the villa is amazing the lounge and kitchen and beds are outstanding this us the best villa in captiva by miles it has a wonderful view and a wonderful beach to walk on to from the villa and have a swim in the sea and watch the fantastic sun come out and go out for lunches and dinners there is a of things to do I would recommend this amazing villa to anyone
