The Neighborhood:

Newbury Neck Cottage is located on the Newbury Neck Road in Surry, Maine. The road is named after a local beach, just a 1/2 mile from the home. This beach is open to the public and offers free parking. The home sits across the street from the ocean, and guests can cross the street and use our private stairs to access the beach. The beach area here is rocky as are most Maine beaches, and guests will enjoy beachcombing, exploring the shoreline and taking in the gorgeous views of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Accessing Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor is an easy 40-45 minute drive!



Other Things to Note:

The beach access is via a set of stairs down to the beach. The stairs are for the private use of this home and the home next door which is not a vacation rental. There is plenty of space on the beach area for privacy. Guests may also visit the public beach just 1/2 mile from the home.
