This was a cute little cottage very close to the water, a playground for the kids and very walkable to downtown. The owner was generous with basics like dish detergent, toilet paper, etc. They also allowed us to check in a little early to get ready for an event after a long drive. We would definitely visit again.

We had an excellent time staying at the Edenton house. It’s a 2 minute walk to shops, bars and restaurants downtown. It’s a 1 minute walk to the Herringbone on the water and right next to the Art collaborative. Denise was quick in her responses and attentiveness. We will definitely be coming back!

This home has everything you can want for a stay in Edenton. Park your vehicle when you arrive there will be no need for it. If you’re looking for peaceful place to relax and recharge this is it!!!! This was one of best homes I’ve ever stayed in book this place you want be disappointed.

We rented this house for my husband's parents to stay during our son's wedding. The location is perfect. They were walking distance to the bay, shops and restaurants. The house was clean and roomy with rockers on the front porch. I was very charming.

Relaxing and peaceful

We loved our time in Edenton. The cottage was in the perfect location to enjoy the 4th of July celebrations and small town history.

The property was extremely clean - which is super important. But, there were some details that were lacking. The second bedroom door couldn’t close because the bed was in the way. There was only 1 TV, which was the size of a computer monitor mounted over a desk. Not a bad property at all - especially considering how clean it was. But I wish I knew beforehand those nuances.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. The twin bed must have been moved by our cleaning team. When in its proper place the bedroom door closes with ease. Comfy house close to everything

We stayed for a long weekend and Edenton and loved the property. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We did not cook, so I cannot speak to the completeness of the kitchen from experience, but it seemed to have all the vitals. And the location cannot be beat. Downtown Edenton is literally around the corner so you are not reliant on a car.

It’s was nuts

We love the area and the location of the property the overall stay was great the only problem we had is that the Squirrels were hiding nuts in the attic and my wife could not get much sleep since she is superstitious and though we were being haunted but is was all good and she just laughed it off after seeing the Squirrels going in the attic with the nuts.

First time to Edenton

We enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to almost everything in town. Close to the water and right across the street from nice little park with boat tours and a dock you could walk out on to see into the sound. There is no TV in the house, we did not know that. Would have been nice to know as we had to find a place to watch college World Series games in evenings. The house had plenty of room for the 2 of us was very clean on inside. No washer /dryer, which would have been needed for an extended stay. Overall we really enjoyed our stay
