Condo is in a great location just a few steps from west beach and green bike trail. Condo was ready when we arrived, easy to access and very clean. The view from living room and bedroom is amazing, great view of sunset. Kitchen is a bit dated but all appliances worked fine. We will stay again.

Condo was as pictured in listing. Ocean view was great!! A few aspects of condo could be updated but overall a nice place! Communication with owner was excellent!! Very quick response to all communication!

Easy access to the beach

The grounds of this property are beautiful and it is super easy to access the beach. The condo has not been remodeled like some of the other units I have stayed in but it was charming and suited our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked for all of your cooking needs and the patio overlooking the grounds and ocean provided the perfect al fresco dining. It is close to the front entrance and convenient to restaurants and shopping at Freshfields village. I would stay here again!

Destination Wedding Guest

The property was good for our needs. We were on the island for just a couple of nights for a wedding. The condo could use a few updates but was sufficient for our needs. Beach was great. We were able to rent extra chairs and an umbrella on the beach. Be warned that you will not be sleeping in as there are no curtains or blinds in the bedroom windows.

The hosts were terrific, friendly and very helpful. We were there for the marathon weekend, so location was outstanding. I would stay again, for that reason alone. The reason I only said good as opposed to great is that I really feel like a little profit needs to be put back into the unit, a little reinvestment. It wouldn’t take much. I’m sure the whole building is a bit old but the unit is a little tired looking, could use a coat of pain, a bit of a face lift in the kitchen - those kind of things. Having been a business owner, I know it speaks volumes when care and attention is put into your buildings, office space, retail - whatever it might be. It really makes a difference. If it looks cared for, you feel cared for. Just my 2 cents for future improvements. But great weekend overall, pretty part of the world. I’d go back

Great Location on the beach, what you see is what you get

This unit is just what you see in the pictures. Not shiny and new as most units, but adequate for what we wanted, an ocean view and right on the beach; it’s just steps away. The location is great, not too far from the entrance to Kiawah, so convenient to the market or restaurants off the island and for small trips. Again, as for the condo itself, what you see is what you get.

Shipwatch Review

The best part of the property is location. The building is right off the beach. Also, you can see the beach while sitting on the balcony. The condo was clean, which is a priority for me. The bed is ok, but could be better. The condo could use updated lighting (brighter) and some TLC.
