Hello! We are Kristi & Ian and we love traveling and staying in unique places! We own an excursion company in Wrightsville Beach, where we do boat tours and island adventures (Epic Excursions). We have designed our cottage for couples or small families looking for a unique place to stay when exploring the beach and downtown Wilmington. Our cozy cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway with adventure just a short drive away. We are excited to share our sweet cozy cottage with our guests for a one-of-a-kind stay!
Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
The cottage is situated on an acre property, within a natural woodsy setting. The owners home and Quonset hut (metal barn structure) used as a detached workshop space are also on the property. The cottage is situated behind the quonset hut, providing plenty of privacy for our guests. The property is in the back of a beautiful neighborhood and feels like a true getaway even though you are minutes to the beach.
Your hosts own an adventure company (Epic Excursions) in Wrightsville Beach and keep all of their paddle boards and gear for tours in the work shop. A private parking area for the cottage is located along the back side of the work shop. You may see the owners in passing, as we work in and out of the workshop. As owners we like to respect the privacy of our guests, but feel free to say hello if we cross paths! If you decide to take on an adventure message us and we can help and offer a discount since you are a guest in our cottage.

Captain's Hideout is hand crafted with so many wonderful details to make your stay magical. The location feels secluded and peaceful, although it's just a short drive to everything fun in Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington! The neighborhood is a desirable place to live in Wilmington because of it's location, and staying in the cottage will be living like a local with all the amenities of a vacation.
