We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! Plenty of room for 3 of us, it was nice and clean, and a quick trip into town. We will definitely be back!

We had a small group of adults in town for just a few days. The house was clean, cozy, and an easy walk to downtown. Would happily stay there again.

Positives:- nicely equipped kitchen - 2 fans supplied when requested - towels and linens supplied- sand beach chairs available - cozy living room- dining room tableAppearance:- Overall lack of cleanlinesss, especially back bathroom and kitchen floor dirty- Rust on bathroom surfaces- Outside porch area and cushions filthy. Area needed sweeping.Safety concerns: - Extension cord runs under carpet in master bedroom, trip hazard. - No grab bars in shower- No bath mat- Sharp metal bed frame protruded on master bed, mirror side. Scraped my leg 3 times.  Put towel over protrusion, better. Suggest placing cloth or rubber protector over frame.General:- No upstairs bathroom, no notice in listing of this!- Master bedroom TV did not work, wasn't hooked up, remote control not found. - Not enough toilet paper for 4 people and 3 nights/4 days. 3 rolls provided.- Suggest moving mirror to opposite wall in master bedroom as it is difficult to maneuver in front of current placement. - Lack of mirror in twin bedroom. Recommend adding full length mirror on door.- Most outlets did not work. Lots of extension cords.- No soap, bought some- No trash can upstairs. - Couldn't find the "white welcome book".

While the host did let us in early on day of check in .....that was the end of the good experience. This place is run down, not well cared for and dirty. I messaged the host in the middle of our 4 day 3 night stay to express my disappointment in the condition of the home, and received NO response. The bathroom floor was dirty, the showers leaked on to the floor and we cleaned it up....the towels we used were brown with dirt. The outside area was NOT at all like the pictures, again dirty and unkept. I rely on the customer reviews when I book at stay at any VRBO, but these were either false or just plain made up. Served its purpose

This house worked well for our group of 6 adults. Walkable to town (approx 20 min) and bus routes. Both bathrooms were on the 1st floor which wasn’t a big deal for us, but wouldn’t work as well for families with kids. Loved the outdoor shower and backyard. Communication with owner was challenging - we couldn’t find the white binder with home instructions, and the owner was very slow to respond (1-2 days).

Girls Weekend

We had a great stay! The home was as described. The outdoor shower and patio space were lovely. We would definitely stay here again. The house was about a 15 minute walk into town.

Great location!

This house was a perfect location and easy 15-20 minute walk into town. It was comfortable for the family to stay in and we all had our own space. Not ideal that both bathrooms were downstairs, but we did love and make use of the outdoor shower! Like many older places, the house is a bit dated and is a beach cottage, but James was very responsive and helped us with whatever we needed.

Best stay ever

James was an absolute pleasure of a host. Made sure to tell us the basic ground rules without being over bearing - and was super responsive via text. The location was perfect, and I had the best 30th birthday weekend with my best friends. Highly recommend booking with him.

Super clean, well organized property. Well-stocked kitchen (sugar, salt, etc.), regular and beach towels and beach chairs. Lovely backyard. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location!

We've been coming to Nantucket for years and enjoyed our time in this sweet cottage. We loved being able to walk to town for dinner and having easy access to the bike path. Its central location makes it a great home base for an easy drive or bike ride to numerous beaches! The backyard is tiny, but private and a great spot to have a pre-dinner cocktail. The owners were easy to work with and attended to our concerns quickly.
