Dear Gloria, we thank you for your stay at our condo this July 2025. We are really sorry about the terrible experience you had regarding the Sargassum weeds. Unfortunately, this is an entire coastal area problem due to the ocean cleansing itself during the couple of hot summer months. I assure you the management works painstakingly each day to clear the weeds daily early mornings from our shores so the beach is clear and clean the rest of the day. This accumulation of weeds is seasonal in the couple of months during the hot weather. This year, unfortunately the occurrence of Sargassum was, unexpectedly, unusually much higher than the last few years which was very mild. We apologies for not being able to give prior warning as it was a very unforeseen, unexpected overly large accumulation this year, unfortunately. Most visitors book during the best months between September to June that is Sargassum free. Regarding the elevators, they are very safe and unlike the newer elevators these close very slow giving enough time to go in and out. Playa Turquesa is a family community with small children. There has never been any incident due to elevator accidents. However, please note a child under 5 must never be allowed to enter or exit any elevator without an adult being accompanied regardless of the sensors, to ensure safety of a child always. Julia and Chris are wonderful people. Very pleasant! We were very happy to have them stay the whole month at our condo unit and delighted to have them as our guest. They kept the place super clean and followed all the rules of the condominium complex. We welcome them to visit us again.
