Cozy place to stay with some great amenities. The kitchen was well stocked for the size. Its a quiet, comfortable stay able to stay cool during the hotter days. Street parking is the only option, however I never had issues finding a close place to park near the property. The host is very communicative and gave clear instructions for a super easy check in & out process. Ill be looking to stay here again for the next trip!

This spacious one bedroom apartment had good wifi and and cable television in both the common room and in the bedroom. Plenty of spare towels. Mattress was firm. A complementary Keurig coffee set produced great coffee. Great value.

Perfect for a weekend stay. Has all the home away from home feels. Stu and Stephanie best hosts ever. This is my 3 rd time staying here and will remain our go to when staying in the area.

Host was very kind and patient when we went to the wrong door. Access was easy once we followed directions! Location was convenient and safe. Appreciated the complimentary coffee pods and toiletries. Apartment was relatively clean, overall. Lacked adequate washcloths in bathroom (only one). Would recommend owner attend to discolored grout in shower (mildew stained) and discolored bath mat. Both would make a major improvement in the overall cleanliness impression. We were really only there to shower and sleep on our trip, so it was fine for us.

We really enjoyed our stay as we were in town for a wedding. The location was great! We enjoyed a few local restaurants (Gino’s Italian Restaurant, Cafe Red, Linda’s Pizza, Bagel City & Bagel King) We also enjoyed Sunken Meadow State Park & some surrounding towns such as NorthPort & Pt. Jefferson. The hosts were easy to communicate with. If we are in Kings Park again we would definitely stay here again! Beautiful & safe neighborhood!

Basic needs were met. The bathroom tub mat appeared to have pink mold on it. It would have been appreciated to have either several more water bottles or bigger ones. Coffee choices were not really there. The bed was very comfortable and ample towels. Body wash was almost empty. The entrance to the basement very steep and dirty. I was not told that it was down so low beneath the house. The grid below was raised and could have tripped over it.

Wendy We are very happy that your basic needs were met but Apologies your water and coffee needs were not adequately met. we are sorry the bottles we provide as a courtesy for guests as well as some coffee pods were not up to your satisfaction. Nearly all of our guests appreciate the gesture. There is definitely not pink mold on the. bathtub mat, the entire shower and mat is scrubbed with antibacterial cleaner after every guest -what you are seeing is a result of the hard water in this area. As far as the steps I don't know how much more we could do when we say "downstairs basement apartment" in the description multiple times. With regards to being "dirty" there definitely are leaves on them ,we are sorry about that - it happens in the fall and there isn't much we can do about it. Yes - The soft rubber drain grid at the bottom of the stairs is slightly raised but meant to be stepped on to prevent trips or falls - we are sorry that you "could have" tripped We are also sorry the body wash bottle wasn't full- I see there is still some in there - if it wasn't ample body wash you could have texted or messaged us as you had our number and we would have given you another bottle. Thanks for staying with us though.

I was up on LI visiting family and friends. I’d never spent any time in Kings Park or that general area before so I decided to give this place a try. Everything in the apartment was new and clean. The owners live in the main part of the house but the apartment had its own private entrance and I wasn’t disturbed in any way. It’s less than 10 minutes from Sunken Meadow State Park which has a beach on the Long Island Sound and a 3/4 mile long boardwalk. If you’re traveling alone or as a couple I highly recommend this place.

It's a basement unit, and although we knew that it sounded like someone was moving furniture above us at midnight one night. And that death trap staircase down was covered in wet leaves,VERY dangerous for seniors. The bed was like sleeping on plywood and we had to go to Target to buy 2 pillows we could actually sleep on, those were the worst pillows we have ever slept on, bar none. There were crickets and a few LARGE spiders inside, yuck. Then there was the large dog barking into the late night. All in all it was a big NO for us.

We needed a place to stay for a wedding and the apartment was perfect for what we needed it to be. Close to the train station, clean, and comfortable. Steph and Stu were able to accommodate an early check-in time for us which was appreciated.
