Short walk to Short Sands and Long Sands Beaches! Affordable vacation in York!

Welcome to Crowes Cottage #2! Located between the beaches, this rustic & charming cottage provides a rare opportunity for the perfect vacation in Maine, "the way life should be".

2 bedrooms, 1 bath. The showers are small stall showers and we do have an outdoor enclosed shower that has hot and cold water (by the shed). Each cottage has it's own picnic table for outdoor dining and there is parking for two cars.

We will do our absolute best to ensure you love your time here and want to come back year after year.

We do not provide bed sheets, pillow cases or bath towels. Renters are to provide their own. We do have a thin quilt on each bed.

Love staying here! Its so close to the beach and has all the essentials. It's nice also because its tucked back and the only traffic are other guests. I will be staying again, for sure!

Didn’t have any pets. The place was very quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting outside with my family and afternoon coffee. I liked the convenience to all the shops and lack of traffic. Looking forward to staying again next year.

Great - loved the place. Great location. Nicely decorated. Would book again. York is a beautiful place to visit. Was very comfortable and felt safe.We stayed in unit 2. The couch and cloth chairs are looking worn. Could use a spot cleaning or replaced. But loved staying there.

Fun at York Beach

The cottage was cute, very clean and had everything we needed. We really liked the location. It was so close to everything. We'll all come again.

A little slice of heaven in Crowe's Cottage 2

The second we drove into the driveway, we were charmed by the atmosphere. It was like camping, but in a little cottage. The place was small, as expected, but absolutely perfect for our needs. The fact that dogs are allowed just made this the dream spot for our week away. All of the other tenants were super friendly. Even though the spots were close, everyone was still very respectful of the other's space. The other dogs staying were also well behaved. I would absolutely stay again.

Efficient and economical accommodations

The cottage was clean and comfortable. Check in was very easy. Cottages are very convenient to beaches and York Beach village. The refrigerator door did not close tightly, I did send an email to the property manager noting that. Kitchen was lacking a good kitchen knife, and a little more shelving would have been helpful. Overall, we enjoyed the cottage and would definitely stay again.

Vacation

We enjoyed our stay there very much!! Cottage was so cute and cozy!! We will definitely come back there again!! The only thing that we didn’t like too much was that there was issues with the toilet and it never would flush hardly ever and then the sewer water would come up into the shower drain and into the bathroom sink and kitchen sink so it was very inconvenient but I did call the manager and she had someone come the next day but unfortunately it didn’t solve the problem. But that was the only issue that was wrong so I’m sure that they are going to resolve that issue for the next clients!! It still didn’t ruin our vacation and we will still rent from them again!! Very cute place and very clean place

As advertised, perfect for small family

Crowes cottages were a great location for our family. We have an 8 and 6 year old and the walk to short sands was easy and they didn’t complain once. Dumpsters on property so garbage never piled up. We sat at the picnic tables every night and played cards with the kids. All in all, a great stay!
