Celebrated our 40th anniversary at the Kennedy with a 5-night stay and loved every moment. The house was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. The back porch was a wonderful bonus, and the garage was perfect for storing our bicycles. Such a peaceful, relaxing visit—truly a five-star stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Amazing place for the cost. Very clean. Updated furniture and kitchen. Comfortable beds. Both rooms have access to their own bathrooms . Secluded, yet 7 minutes from downtown. 25 minutes from Mission Inn golf. Would utilize again next time we golf.

A great get away!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Everything was just perfect, from comfortable beds to the beautiful and well stocked kitchen! We especially enjoyed the walking path around Lake Gertrude.

Great accomodations just a few miles from downtown Mt. Dora

The Kennedy House was the perfect spot for our two weeks in Mt. Dora. Having visited the home many years ago when friends owned it, we were pleasantly surprised by what we found when we arrived. The neighborhood is gorgeous, and the landscaping outside the home gives great curb appeal. Everything inside has been completely updated including a beautiful well-stocked kitchen with large island and dining table, comfortable furnishings with very nice accessories everywhere, and two charming bedrooms with their own baths. There is a huge patio out back complete with table, chairs, and a hammock. If the garage apartment at the edge of the patio is rented, the driveway is shared, but we had no trouble parking our truck in the designated spot in front of the garage. The house has a dishwasher and a washer/dryer in the garage. About 3 blocks from the house is a gorgeous walking path that has Lake Gertrude on one side and beautiful homes on the other. Downtown Mt. Dora is just a few miles away. Talia, the property manage was quick to respond if we had any questions or issues, and the owners, Eric and Marsha, were delightful. As they live close by, we had the opportunity to visit in person with Eric several times. He was so kind, informative, and helpful. We look forward to meeting Marsha the next time we visit. Thank you, Eric, Marsha, and Talia, for making our stay so comfortable and cozy.

Great Place!

This home is lovely and comfortable! My sister and I went for a little get-away and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Th home was perfect for us with two comfortable bedrooms, each with attached bathrooms. I liked that the hall bath had a shower instead of a tub. The pictures don’t do this home justice. I was expecting nice and it was more than that! The neighborhood was exceptional.

Great New Listing

The property owner is very easy to get in touch with and was quick to address questions. Also provided great local food recommendations. The house was very clean and we were fortunate to find it with a new listing discount. Overall would definitely go back!

Whether it’s a morning stroll or a sunset view, the lake adds a special charm to the area that I really appreciate
