THE PROPERTY: Enjoy your stay with us at Royal Poinciana Cottage, part of the quaint Conch Cottages property, which includes 3 separate rentable units: Royal Poinciana Cottage on the right, Margarita Cottage on the left, and Robinson Crusoe Cottage in the rear. You can rent each unit separately or rent Conch Cottages to enjoy all 3 units and ultimate privacy during your Key West vacation.

After breakfast in bed, stroll outside for a dip in the shared pool! Complete with a new deck and lounge chairs, this is an ideal spot to enjoy island life. Surrounded by palm trees and lush greenery, a sense of tranquility will wash over you in no time. Inside the home, you will enjoy a restful sleeping space with a queen bed, nightstands, and smart TV. An updated ensuite bath is complete with pedestal sink and tiled walk-in shower. The bedroom also provides access to your private front porch from which you can enjoy evening cocktails and island breezes. A hall closet provides storage for your luggage and an instant water heater. The updated kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. *Please note this cottage has no dishwasher. Your private deck includes a grill and outdoor bistro set. If you prefer not to cook while on vacation, you can walk to nearby El Siboney, a local Cuban restaurant. Walk a few blocks further and you will find yourself on Duval Street where you can enjoy additional restaurants, bars, galleries, and world-class shopping. Vibrant Key West nightlife and stunning sunsets on Mallory Square are also within walking distance. This home provides you with a comfortable place to relax as well as a vantage point from which you may explore the island. Either way, you can’t go wrong. We welcome you to enjoy yourself at Royal Poinciana Cottage soon!

BED CONFIGURATION: There is one queen bed in the cottage.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: A shared, heated pool, lounge chairs and a grill are provided for your enjoyment. The pool is heated seasonally (November through April) for an additional fee which will be assessed at the time of booking. The pool house has a shared washer and dryer for guests. Dine under the stars or enjoy a peaceful night swim on the island.

PARKING: There is no designated parking space however, street parking may be available in the surrounding neighborhood.

LOCATION: Located in the heart of Historic Old Town, you can walk or bike to Duval Street, shops, bars, and restaurants. Enjoy nearby entertainment on Mallory Square.

PETS: One (1) dog allowed, up to 25 lbs, for an additional fee and completion of Pet Information addendum. Must be 1 year of age or older. Must be spayed/neutered. All vaccinations must be up to date. Please be advised some breeds are not permitted. Sorry, cats are not allowed.

SMOKING: This is a non-smoking home and property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was perfect for our four day trip to Key West! There is a full kitchen, but we used the grill outside every night to cook. Space was so private and the pool was heated and absolutely perfect! Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was wonderful! Our 5th time to Key West. The rental concierge had rental bicycles delivered for the week, we used them each day. In my opinion Best way to see KW. They checked in at every step and were helpful! The cottage was all we needed, and we loved the pool! We cooked some meals, and loved sitting on the porch at night! The rental company was incredible!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures - clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The property itself was great and had all the essential amenities we needed. And the pool was a plus! We really loved our time here.One small recommendation: the pull chain for the ceiling light in the bedroom was really really short. It’d be great if it was longer for easier access.A special shoutout to the lady at the front desk - she was truly amazing and made our trip even better. She gave us fantastic tips about the area, including great food recommendations. She was an absolute gem!Overall, the service was excellent, and we would definitely recommend this place to others.

The staff was always welcoming and helpful. They let us change & keep our bags in their office until our room was ready and same on the way out before we had to catch our plane. The room was great overall. A bit cramped, even for 2 people so I wouldn't suggest more than that. There wasn't even room for a chair, so tough to get our shoes on. The main culprit was the bed frame which was oversized and extended well beyond the queen bed mattress. So much so that we each cracked our knees/shin on the corners almost immediately. The amenities were fine. There was only one shampoo packet and a tiny silver dollar sized soap, so I suggest buying some of each. There were 4 hangers in the room. Not sure how 2 people can get by a whole week on 4 hangers. How about a few more? The pool was nice and necessary for October as the days were very hot. Our new neighbors thought the pool needed heating so they paid extra to heat it up. Then it was TOO hot for us to be refreshed. Luckily we were leaving in a day or two. The cottage was in a good spot and local to everything, although I would always suggest bicycles or even a car. (Very hard to find parking) Overall everything was fine.

Thank you for the kind and honest review of our new Royal Poinciana Cottage. We are happy you enjoyed your time here and we are looking into the issues you mentioned (bed, pool heat, etc). We did have the other guests say the pool was too cold so we did turn on the heat for them; we guess it's just a difference in preferences for different guests. Ants everywhere including the bathroom and charged for towels that were just dirty. Not stained but just dirty because of their dirty shower floor.
