The neighboring property has begun rebuilding post hurricane. Their work may cause occasional daytime noise/traffic (a specific timeline of projects is not available to us) Our home is not affected, and we’ll do our best to keep your stay comfortable. The beach and beach access are open, beautiful. A large portion of the key in general is still heavily recovering and some form of construction may be encountered with the one main road on the key.

The Salty Surfer is family owned and we greatly appreciate your support of our community during rebuilding, excited to have you as our guest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every amenity we needed was thoughtfully supplied. The unit was clean and just beautiful! It was as pictured. Check in and out was easy. Can’t wait to go back!

If we could give this property 10 stars we would. Easily the nicest vacation rental we have stayed in with quality furnishings, linens, and kitchen items. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided. Very clean! Steps from the beach and only a couple minutes away from a variety of restauraunts. We will definitely be back!

A fantastic place to stay - we would give 10 stars for everything if we could. The photos don’t do it justice - there is everything that you could imagine that you might need for a beach holiday plus more! Marina is very attentive and answers all queries and questions quickly and sympathetically. You will be just a few steps from the Gulf beach - there’s beach chairs, sun shades and even a shark’s tooth sifter to use. Plenty of room to relax outside with two seating areas, hammocks a gas bbq grill and a gas fire pit. Everything was spotless when we arrived with more than enough of the essentials. The only possible reason not to recommend it would be so that it would be available for us to come back - which we will if we possibly can.

First of all the place was beautiful.!Only a few steps to the beach and minutes away from some very good restaurants. I had a few questions and the host responded quickly.

the host was fantastic, Available for any question, and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. The place was everything as depicted on the site and MORE. Location was perfect, comfortable beds, excellent kitchen and perfect outdoor space. Walk to the beach took less than 5 minutes.
