Trying someplace new.
The condo is beautiful. You could tell that things had been redone since the hurricane. I did not find the condo in a very clean state. I had to clean the floors, which included moving the couches where I found numerous candy wrappers and dust bunnies. We did have an incident where our 2-year-old bumped into a shelving unit, which isn't very stable, and broke a vase on top of the unit. Each shelf was decorated with multiple shells. I did contact the number who texted me the entry code but got no response multiple times. It's a beautiful home I'm just not sure it's appropriate for young children. Many things were very breakable. White cloth covered kitchen chairs are not ideal. We definitely enjoyed the quietness of the condo and everyone that we came into contact with was very nice. I did go out and buy cleaning supplies and cleaned when we left. I know we left it cleaner than we found it. The beach was nice and not crowded. We did find multiple shells and shark teeth. I just wish that We could have walked out into the water further. Two steps into the gulf and the waves are breaking made being in the water impossible for the 2, 4 and 7 without life jackets and a very close adult. You have to drive to a different beach in order for the kids to be able to play at the edge of the water without fear. Again, we enjoyed our stay but it was not exactly relaxing. The price of the condo was expensive, there were multiple workers each day making noise and hurrican repairs.
