Amazing views from the bedrooms, both have en suites and are quite spacious. The stairs are rough if you are obese or have mobility issues, but if you can handle them the views are spectacular. There’s not a lot of food options super close to the property, but there is a place that is pretty good that will deliver for a fee if you’re too tired to get on a lancha.

Beautiful property and views just steps away from the lake and easy walk to Santa Cruz spots. The host was superb in communication and helping with travel logistics and recommendations nearby. Would highly recommend and hope to come back again sometime!

Do not hesitate to stay here. Beautiful views, a quiet area of Lake Atitlan that allows for a truly relaxing time. Easy access to water taxi. Very well supplied home and impeccably clean. Loved it!

The view was amazing. The rooms were clean, and everything was in great working order. The only thing that was not perfect was wi-fi on the second floor was not strong however, do I really need to be on wi-fi when there is such an amazing view?

Property exceeded all our expectations! Lovely house, incredible location and amazing views of the lake, with direct access from a jetty! Small issue with wifi that was quickly resolved by the host. Highly recommended!

Magical and Mystical

Visiting Santa Cruz La Laguna on beautiful Lago Atitlan is a truly magical experience, and Outi’s hilltop home is the perfect oasis for your stay. The home is brand new, modern, with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. More importantly, the views from the balconies are breathtaking. No better place to get away from it all and enjoy nature at its best, while living in simple luxury. Outi and her house staff are always available if you need anything - including helping you to transport your luggage to and from the dock to the lancha (boat). A few tips: Ask Outi to arrange for Elena to prepare a typical Guatemalan dinner for you. Her “pepian” is delicious! Be prepared to tackle lots of steps. Unfortunately, this is not the place for those with limited mobility. Take the time to go up to the town. We used the TukTuk’s, but you can walk if you’re up for it. We recommend learning more about the Amigos de Santa Cruz (a local NGO), visiting CECAP’s artisan shop and stopping by Cafe Sabor Cruceno for a refreshing “limonada”. They also serve delicious breakfasts and lunches. Hope you enjoy this beautiful home as much as we did!

En realidad vistas maravillosas y la propiedad en excelentes condiciones. Pero no es una propiedad para gente mayor, ya que tiene una infinidad de gradas para moverse a cualquier sitio. No tiene comunicación vía terrestre, los movimientos deben hacerse en lancha. Para personas mayores de 65 años, no la recomiendo.
