Our family had the most amazing time at this condo; easy access to pool and beach, lots of space for everyone! It was just perfect for our family and we would love to stay there again. Very comfortable beds, very clean and in a perfect location. The owner was extremely attentive and helpful. Looking forward to our next stay!

BEST CONDO EVER!!!!!! BEST HOST EVER!!!!!!

Our family has stayed in many condos, although all were very nice this condo far exceeded our expectations. Host was the BEST, besides condo being absolutely beautiful and very large with Everyone having their own space. Host has everything you need and then some, many beach towels all sizes, beach toys all kinds, beach umbrellas, body boards all sizes, pack-n-play crib, beach chair, pool noodles, a nice pop up canopy, and even books to read. It is on 2nd floor right next to stairs to pool & beach making it very convenient to run up and grab lunch. Family can eat on terrace overlooking pool & ocean. Large owners parking spot in garage for truck. Grandson really enjoyed large jacuzzi bath. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like and I am OCD and very picky. The Opus staff were wonderful from manager to maintenance staff kept everything clean even the owners were super nice and tolerant that’s very rare . Advise: be respectful to others and their belongings at all times, control and supervise all under age children & teenagers at all times and plan every day as if it is sunny, no matter what the weather report says and you’ll have the best time. If you do stay in your host has you covered awesome AC and many options to watch, listen to music, or just share the spectacular ocean view, sunrise to sunset. The Morgan family

They need to update there photos of the condo. So much prettier then the photos posted. The only reason its a 4 and not a 5 was we went without a garage door opener for 2 or 3 days, which was a inconvince. Other then that it was a very nice place to stay. Would stay again.

Great location

Great location on a quiet area of the beach. Nice pool. The condo was very clean with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Would stay here again.

Great stay

Connie was great to work with. She responded quickly to all my questions. The condo was clean, spacious and very very well equipped with towels and kitchenware. We were a family of eight and it met all of our needs!

Great stay!!

This location was great. Our accommodations were great. Connie was great in her communication with us. Although the pool was not open and work still being done on the grounds. We had a great time at the beach. We would definitely recommend this unit to others.

Dryer did not operate well, took long time to dry and kept shutting off. Washer was dirty. Hot water was not very hot, could take shower with solid hot water. Master bed was not made well, sheets looked like they have been slept in as were not pulled around the cornors very well.

Spring break

Stayed a week during spring break. Had a nice relaxing week and enjoyed the great views from the oceanfront balcony. Very large condo with plenty of room for everyone. The open floor plan provided panoramic views of the beach and ocean. Host was very communicative!

Wonderful

Four over 50's have been enjoying the Florida Shores for over 40 years and this Condo is one of the nicest places we have stayed at. Clean beautiful sun rises every morning. You can not ask for better Property Managers they are present helpful and pleasant Thanks for a GREAT 10 Days !!!

Girls trip

The condo was absolutely beautiful, clean and looked even better in person than in pictures. Check in process was a breeze. We even arrived a little early and had no where to go and we were allowed a couple extra hours. Immediate access to the beach and a gorgeous view from the balcony. Already thinking of booking next year’s trip. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend staying at the Opus.

Vacation Stay

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at OpusÂŹÂŹÂŹÂŹ. The three-bedroom condo was just right for our 3-generational party of 6. The owners, Darrell and Connie, were always very gracious and friendly. Connie answers the phone immediately and always knows what to do. When we entered the unit, the spacious condo was neat, tasteful, and orderly. As a corner unit, the living / dining room present dramatic ocean views with the community pool and hot tub lying just below the second floor balcony. The large granite-countered kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, utensils, and dishware. The ice maker, however, was temperamental -- sometimes coughing out cubes sideways onto the floor. Gladly, we found beach supplies in a hall closet -- plenty of beach towels, a bucket full of children’s sand toys, folding chairs, and multiple boogie boards. The rusty umbrella pole was unfit to use, so we purchased another umbrella. A stairway next to the unit conveniently leads to the pool. Luggage carts are stored in the ground floor garage and are easily brought up by elevator. After you arrive at the entrance to the building, you have to go back out on the street to access the vehicle entrance to the garage (clicker required). Across the street lie a Dollar General and other shops, including a Winn Dixie. We preferred to drive two miles south to Publix for groceries -- but the kids loved walking the street options. Directly across from the condo facility beckons a popular miniature golf course with available weekly rates. The whole Opus complex belongs to a condominium association – with a manager on site weekdays and late Saturday afternoons. The building is well-maintained. Things do break, but the repairs are quickly made – as parts are available. On the whole, the condo is beautifully laid out and well- appointed in a heavy Mediterranean dĂ©cor. However, some areas need attention for a top 5* rating: 1) The bedroom carpets shocked as old & dirty -- in need of an upgrade! 2) The bath towels were thread-bare, thin, & mismatched. 3) The master bath toilet seemed precariously low & without a hand railing (15-16” ht. is recommended). 4) The condo mattresses proved saggy, soft, & oddly creaky. --- Nevertheless, we ALL woke well-rested and grateful for another glorious day at Daytona Shores Beach! Thank you for this great location.

The condo is beautiful and we really enjoyed staying there.

This is a beautiful place to stay and we really enjoyed staying there. However if you are taking 2 cars I don’t recommend staying here the week of July 4th. The parking up top is first come first serve and we was not told that prior to booking. We had to hunt a parking place all 7 nights and risk getting our car towed. Some night it was a 2 hour search and then I would have to get up at 7:00 am to go see if my car was towed or not. Other than the parking issues this is a great place to stay!
