As advertised, good location walkable to downtown, pier, marina, etc. Everything was clean and in working order. This is an older building so expect quaint and charming as the description states. That being it was really a comfortable layout with most room spacious. The single bathroom is quite small but expected for a 30s house. the kitchen lacks a dishwasher or disposal, also expected. But the living room was really comfortable, separate dining area useful, washer dyer in the unit was nice. Dog friendly worked perfectly. For us we were just DINKWADs but this would be great for a family. Especially considering the location

This was an amazing place to stay. I can not say enough about. it, honestly. I have been to Santa Barbara many times and this might have been the best place we stayed yet. It was charming, comfortable and had great amenities. We were there for a girl's weekend and we had plenty of room to relax, play games and sleep comfortably. We could walk to restaurants, shops and the beach easily. The host was easy to communicate with, accommodating and generally went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

We had an amazing stay at Ian’s property! It was perfect for us being 2 blocks from the beach and less than a 10min walk to downtown. Our 2.5 year old was with us and fit in the pack n play & we found it very suitable for our family. We’d definitely rent from Ian again when we come back!

Wonderful home! Has all the old Santa Barbara charm you could ask for. Simple and easy directions and instruction. The best part of this home is the location. You can literally walk to all the shops and the beach and pier. The beds were super cozy too for a great nights sleep. Would love to spend a week here.

Perfect location! The house is so cute and was fully stocked with everything we needed. Check in and check out were so simple, and Tom was so easy to communicate with about anything and everything. Would love to stay here again!

Birthday Getaway

The house was clean and had everything we needed. We only used the house for sleeping and showering. We did not use the kitchen, although it did seem to have everything one might need to make meals there. The location is awesome, we were able to walk to all our favorite places in the Funk Zone.

Central location. Can walk to Chad's for breakfast.

Overall, a nice property. Off street parking in the rear of unit was nice also. I was there with my brother to see family. I'd stay there again for sure. Not in love with the shower / tub as struggling with being surrounded by shower curtains was not that great. That's a minor point however. The other nice points about the property far outweighed the shower curtain issue. We had a minor issue with the drain in the bathroom sink and Ian responded right away. Thank you Ian!

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay at Ian's apartment in Santa Barbara. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The offstreet parking and laundry facilities were very handy. The photos of the apartment are accurate and if anything, it felt lighter and more spacious than we were expecting. The location is fantastic, especially if like us, you're only staying in SB for a short time. It's in a lovely neighbourhood and is within easy walking distance to pickup groceries, the funk zone, downtown, the beaches and the pier.

An absolute jewel close to everything
