Great location downtown near to plenty of entertainment, food, sights, etc. The balcony view of the riverwalk and battleship is a plus while the place has all you need for an extended stay. Comfy and stocked. This is a bit of an older structure so you'll have some street noise, but that is pretty normal for downtown sites.

The View on Water street was perfect and in a great location. The view is amazing and we got to watch the Azalea Festival fireworks from the balcony overlooking the river. We will be staying again soon!

After stressful day and the car ride here with a doggie and an elderly friend that we were helping them move to Wilmington this weekend, it was very nice to be able to rest up at his welcoming and cozy condo. We enjoyed the beautiful view and breathing the fresh air. The condo is well maintained and there are many touches that makes it feel like a home away from home. Definitely very nice the quick responses from the host. The pamphlet with local info and the restaurants, things to do was very helpful. We hope to be back soon when we visit our friend and her pretty dog Millie; Dori & Charlie B, Greenville, SC

Great location, everything 100% super easy and very well organized from reservation to check in to check out. I imagine if I would have needed anything during my stay it would have been handled immediately, but really all was as expected so I didn't even need to reach out. Curt and Ada were excellent communicators. We enjoyed the use of the parking deck. The condo was as listed. An excellent view in an excellent location. The view included Cape Fear River and an impressive view of the NC Battleship. Condo was clean and equipped with necessary amenities. They had some snacks for us upon arrival. Those came in handy while deciding where to venture out. The downtown area has a lot of choices for shopping and eats. One of our favorites was "The Dough House" for Pizza. There are 2 markets nearby that provides convenience,the DGx and The Gourmet Market. The Bellamy Mansion was a good visit if you are into that kind of thing. We attended concerts on consecutive nights. The Live Oak Pavilion was within walking distance, however we left our ponchos at the condo and were soaked one night during a storm. There is much more in the area to explore. One negative thing - The rear sliding glass door appears to have been installed reverse of what it should have been. Regardless, wheels are off the track. The door is hard to open and obnoxious to listen to squeak and squeal going in and out of the door. It needs new roller assemblies and reset in track. FIX THE DOOR!. Also, hall lights don't illuminate, no biggie .I would definitely stay here again. I would prefer the door be fixed, but if not, I would probably book anyway.

Superb! Has everything you need and could hope for - comfortable furniture, well thought out kitchenette, nice towels and bathroom amenities, extremely clean and responsive property management. This condo was perfect for a birthday getaway. The view was great overlooking the river. Condo was very clean with new/newer furniture and appliances. Kitchen was well outfitted but why cook when there are so many restaurants within walking distance. We plan on coming back to The View in the future.

We highly recommend this VRBO. Kitchen was furnished with complete sets of dishes, bowls, silverware, glasses, utensils and cookware. Very nice amenities; three throws to cover up with; night lights in kitchen and bath; coffee maker with coffee and creamer; nice refrigerator with ice maker; water and snacks; hair dryer and toiletries. The high chairs and high table on the deck provided a great view from the deck and did not block the view from the living room. Loved the garage parking. Convenient to shops, restaurants and bars! Great communication with Curt and Ada during our stay.
