Front de mer isolé de Folly Beach avec 18 acres (dates de juillet et août réduites)

18 acres de terre sur l’île de Folly Beach, située sur la barrière de Charleston, en face de l’océan Atlantique. Dans son histoire, il a abrité le Folly Boys Camp construit dans les années 1920, est et continue d'être un sanctuaire d'oiseaux et de la faune. Guerre. Au fil des ans, les propriétaires ont restauré le chalet de 1 600 pieds carrés, aménagé le terrain, aménagé un quai en eau profonde et ajouté des trucs amusants comme une cabane, un foyer extérieur en pierre et une table à manger. mousse de chênes et le long des rives et des marais. À l'intérieur, la maison de pin tout cœur a été restaurée avec des équipements modernes et décorée avec des antiquités et des œuvres d'art funky.

Si vous souhaitez ralentir l’horloge et vous reconnecter aux couchers de soleil, à l’eau et au ciel nocturne, la River House est peut-être ce que vous recherchez. C'est une escapade confortable de 2 lits / 2 salles de bain parfaite pour deux couples ou une petite famille. Le centre-ville de Charleston est littéralement à 22 minutes (12 miles) et Folly est l’île la plus proche de l’histoire, de la culture et des restaurants de la ville.

Un bateau de plaisance / paradis des pêcheurs la rivière House dispose d'un accès direct à l'océan, à environ 5 milles marins de la voie navigable Intercoastal.
La terre se trouve sur la rivière Folly où le fleuve Stono rencontre l’Atlantique. Le quai en eau profonde dispose d'un coin salon couvert pour la pêche et la pêche au crabe. Il y a un quai flottant de 10 x 20 pieds pour l'amarrage durant la journée.

Best vacation ever

The property is beautiful couldnt ask for a better place to stay and the fishing off the private dock is excellent caught alot of fish and we love the fact that its completely private this was our second time staying here and we look forward to coming back again ithe future

There is so much to do right there, but like you said it is close to all of the restaurants and shops at Folly and an easy commute to Charleston. Looking forward to your return.

Wonderful place to stay

The cottage, grounds, and location are wonderful. It was even better than we had hoped even with all of the positive reviews. The cottage has the character of an older place but everything works perfectly and there is so much provided to make your stay perfect. The kayaks, bikes, treehouse, golf cart...plus games, books, information, and a million places to relax and unwind in the sun or the shade, We will definitely come back when we have the chance which is unusual for us as we like to try new places.

Most amazing place

Words can’t even describe what a magical place this is. From the evening sunsets on the dock and chasing crabs to watching the dolphins swim and deer grazing it was the most magical place. My 2 little girls enjoyed our evening golf cart rides and exploring the property. Such easy access to the beach. Charleston was a quick drive too. We are forever grateful we found this place and hope to come back in the future.

Best Folly has to offer!

You have to experience it for yourself to truly understand the magic in this house. I had never stayed anywhere other than ocean front, this property exceeded my wildest dreams for fun and adventure. I can only hope the owner continues sharing such a phenomenal piece of his and folly’s history.

Great escape!

Great time revisiting the low country. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach and serenity along the river. Fishing was spectacular off the dock. The treehouse became a favorite for sunset views and a nice cooldown when needed. House is well stocked and communication with the owner was fast. Expect exactly as advertised. Many thanks to Jim.

Just magical!

This is our third return to this magical property. I can’t say enough good things about it. Perfect placement on the intercostal waterway with a long dock going right to the middle. Across from the beach it is the best of both worlds. Lots of wildlife on the large private property. The house is well stocked and comfortable and has a great screened porch and Florida vibe. Owners are easy to contact and responsive. It is an all around great spot for a getaway.

This property was amazing! The owners were the best we have ever worked with. Once out of the driveway -there is public beach access right across the street. We would go to the beach in the mornings. Drive our golf cart down town to lunch and then my husband and son would fish off the dock during the afternoons. We sat and watched the dolphins from the dock. We also saw deer on the property. It was a very peaceful and relaxing vacation. We all can't wait to go back. Will bring our boat on the next trip!

Paradise

This was the most special VRBO experience I have had in all of my years of staying at VRBO homes. The location is spectacular - we saw dolphins swimming every single day. The river is truly beautiful and peaceful, and the beach is just at the end of the driveway and across the street. Every day we saw a gorgeous sunset. You feel like you are in your own private state park, but then the fun town is just blocks away. This is a deeply peaceful, natural property - the setting itself is what makes it so magical. Our whole family felt so fortunate to just be on such a beautiful property, and that the owners have preserved this beautiful piece of coastal nature for generations. The cabin is cozy and charming and extremely well stocked. The dock / pier is wonderful and the tree house? WOW. This is clearly a place that is deeply loved and treasured by its owners - it is extremely well cared for and comfortable. I am already dreaming of our next trip to this special place. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Another great stay at the River House!!!

We stayed a week at the River House in April 2022. The house, grounds, and dock are all lovingly maintained and immaculate. The property is an oasis, with lots of privacy on an otherwise busy island. Can’t wait till our next visit!!

Masters week

We had planned to fly into Atlanta and drive to Augusta for The Masters until we saw the River House in Folly Beach on VRBO. Our stay in this home was whimsical, magical, and one we will never forget. I truly hope that we can come back again soon!

Beautiful Property - we loved everything

We enjoyed sunsets on the dock, lots of boating with local captains picking us up from the private dock. Dolphins, and lots of other local wildlife were abundant and created a serene and relaxing environment for our unplugged vacation. However, the internet was available and reliable for the times we did need it. Everything in the house was clearly labeled and explained and Linda promptly responded to any questions that arose. It was an overall great experience and we hope to stay at The River House again sometime.

Always a great escape

we love staying here! there's always something to do! hanging out and crabbing or fishing on the dock or beach access directly across the street. quick ride to the shops and restaurants on center Street. our only issues is the mosquitos. so be prepared when you come back from the beach at lower part of the house they are terrible but up on the deck and dock no issues! we have stayed her several times and always love our stay! highly recommend

This property is in a prime location. If you want seclusion, but still be close to the beach and the bay, this is the place for you! The property has all the amenities you need and extremely clean. Would highly recommend and stay again!!

Beautiful Property

This rental is unique and beautiful. The house is clean and has everything you need. The acres are lush and driving the golf cart around is so much fun. The dock and river are so nice and it’s lovely to spend mornings and sunsets sitting by the water.

Awesome stay at the River House!

This was an excellent property to visit on Folly Beach. The house is immaculately clean. It is decorated in a wonderfully quirky and eclectic manner. It is perfect for a couples getaway. It is situated on 18 acres which gives plenty of privacy while outdoors. There are paths on the property for hiking, and wander around the grounds that are kept well and obviously much loved by the owner. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Incredible Property in Folly

This property is a very special place in Folly Beach. You will not find anything remotely close to it. The cottage is quaint, clean, and comfortable. With 12 acres you have all the room you need to explore. We spent hours on the dock fishing, crabbing, and kayaking. This is our 3rd year and won't be our last.

A Magical Gem of a Place

We rented this property for a surprise birthday weekend for my mother and her two sisters and it was "the best things that's ever happened!" (- my sweet mama) The house is quirky and cozy and the screened in porch is perfect for lazy chats and iced tea and sweet treats. The property comes with the amenities of a true resort - golf carts, kayaks, private dock, trails through the tropical woods. We loved everything about our weekend here and have bit a bit bummed out ever since we left. That's the sign of something special.

Relaxing and Peaceful

We had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was as listed, property was exceptionally clean and the amenities were fantastic! We could not go 5 minutes on the dock without seeing the dolphins at any point of the day. We will certainly be back!!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Everything about this property is special. I love swinging in the lounges in the tree house in the evening as the deer come into the yard, or swinging on the tree swing as the sunsets. There are lots of paths to take the golf cart on enjoying wildlife. But mostly I love the romantic cottage feel. This is a great location for couples or fishermen, who will love the boat dock. Children love the yard and the trails.
