Great Stay

The property managers did a great job with communication. They never made me feel like my questions were burdening them. Wifi access worked just fine. And the view from the balcony was fantastic. I think there's always room for improvement, but nothing that would keep me from recommending this condo!

3 disappointments 1) One of the balcony chairs was broken. 2) the condo did not give a beach feeling. Needs updating to make it feel like your at the beach. 3) i feel like the pictures of this condo were very mis leading on the website. Overview condo was clean and we were able to relax

Condo Stay

Paying an additional $55 is just a money grab. The condo rental should include parking for one vehicle. The room was acceptable but the place needs some serious updating. Had trouble with the refrigerator, never really got cold enough and the ice maker only ran one cycle a day. View off of the balcony was great and the WIFI was super.

Needed Some Beach and Peace

Sometimes grandparents just need to run away. My husband had some work to do and had a bad knee. The oceanfront was a perfect way for him to relax and still enjoy the ocean. One meal each day we choose from a good selection of good restaurants in the Orange/Beach/Gulf Shores area. Then, breakfast and lunch on the balcony was heavenly. Although the forecast predicted storms, there were lots of spaces with no rain and warm breezy weather perfect for walking the beach and sitting oceanside. The room was quiet; we slept well. In spite of some work and a troublesome leg, we both came home refreshed. We look forward to going back!

Nice but not great

The bathroom is small and out dated. Shower is short. Washing machine didn’t work properly. Kept filling with water instead of spinning out clothes.

It was fine, not overly great. The unit was pretty outdated and seemed in need of a refresh. The kitchen was missing a toaster and the popcorn ceiling was coming off in the bathroom. The carpet felt grimey and the furniture was pretty old. Overall it was a great view and location, just with it was more updated and nicer for the price

Great location, good accommodations

The location and amenities at Phoenix III were great. Fantastic beach view, nice pools, and adequate exercise facilities. Great location right on the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. The condo was in good condition, with nice bed and furniture, and electronics and appliances worked fine. However, the condo smelled strongly of smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking unit(mentioned this to the staff - they came and simply Febreezed the condo which did little to help). Also, the latch to the sliding door to the balcony was broken and it wouldn't shut. Found that the bathroom tub had serious drainage problems, and the fan didn't work, and mold was on the shower curtains as a result. Overall this rental was a good experience despite the sanitary/cleanliness issues. Would recommend this rental to people looking for a great beachfront location and access.

Very nice beachfront property

Had a very nice time rained a bit but still enjoyed our visit , will be back not a better place to be than on the coast for relaxation ...

Good staffing and location

Checking in was a breeze. All of the staff we encountered at the 24 hour front desk were excellent. The men manning the entrance gre were pleasant as well. The condo has a good ocean view and is easy to access. Basic necessities were there and the bed is comfortable. Instructions for the two tv's were consist and easy to read. The dryer didn't work well and needs serviced. We didn't cool while there so can't comment on the rest of the units appliances. The pool has an extremely strong odor of chlorine for what's that worth.
