In the beating heart of Florence, a few steps from two of its most iconic symbols such as Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria, is our elegant art-filled apartment, perfect for experiencing an authentic stay in the charm of the historic center. Located on the second floor of a refined period building, our place offers a cool and quiet respite with a garden terrace right in the center of the bustling city.

Our spacious and bright home is filled with art and objects collected over decades, fine Florentine finishes characteristic of the most noble homes, floors in antique terracotta and ceilings decorated with splendid painted wooden beams. Each room has been designed to offer a welcoming and relaxing living experience, worthy of the beauty that surrounds the apartment.

The interior includes a fully equipped kitchen, two large living rooms perfect for relaxing after a full day of sightseeing, an en-suite bedroom with king size bed, ample clothes storage and direct terrace access, two complete bathrooms, a practical guest bathroom and a garden terrace perfect for dining al fresco, a morning coffee or a sunset aperitif.

The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people thanks to a comfortable sofa bed in one of the two living rooms, making it ideal for couples as well as families or small groups of friends. With its attached half-bath and direct terrace access, this beautiful living space easily converts to a private second bedroom leaving the additional living room free for socializing or watching TV.

Equipped with air conditioning, fast WiFi connection, washing machine and dryer (unusual in Italy!), Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and TV, our charming apartment is ready to welcome you with all the comforts necessary to feel immediately at home.

The apartment was in a prime location. Very quiet building which allowed us to sleep well. One of the best places that we stayed while we were in Italy. The apartment was cozy and clean. Our host was amazing! Always willing to answer our questions and was very patient as we were late getting to the property.

BEWARE SERVICES NOT AS DESCRIBED 2/3 TOILETS BROKEN; Overall, the stay was a major disappointment. We paid a premium 2 bathroom, 3 toilet home but were forced into a 1 toilet experience for 5 nights. The owner/host provided a string of contradictory excuses: first claiming no plumbers were available due to the holiday, then claiming a part was needed from a closed store, and finally stating a part had to be ordered, all without a single professional or handyman ever visiting the property to diagnose the issues in either of the two bathrooms where the toilets were not working. Shockingly, the owner's suggested 'fix' was for us to manually reach into the toilet tank to pull internal hoses to trigger a flush for the duration of our stay. She also claimed we agreed to this approach and defended this method to Vrbo. When we requested a fair refund, the owner attempted to justify a 10% credit by arguing that we still had use of the sink, bathtub and bidet in one of the broken bathrooms. This is an illogical and unsanitary defense; one cannot use a bathtub or bidet for essential waste disposal. A bathroom is defined by a functional toilet; without it, the room cannot fulfill its primary sanitary purpose.Between the failed infrastructure, the dismissive attitude of the owners and a unilateral 10% refund that I never agreed to, this listing is unprofessional and poorly managed and I cannot in good faith recommend it.

Easter weekend, not sure that the flush mechanism wasn’t broken by the guest. Did everything we could to solve the issue but the holiday weekend made that impossible. We extended a refund for the minor inconvenience but you just can’t please some people no matter what. We would not welcome this guest back and you can see from all our 5 star reviews we take guest happiness very seriously.
