With that said, we are sorry to hear about the elevator issue you experienced. Unfortunately, our Property Management Team was not made aware of this issue until the day of your departure. Had our team been notified when the issue was realized during your stay, we would have dispatched our very capable in-house maintenance team to diagnose and/or trouble shoot the issue - typically within minutes of our team receiving your call. We have a very close working relationship with the elevator company that installs our elevator system, and they have trained our technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot minor issues, and in most cases, we can resolve the issue within that scope. For issues that are outside of our defined scope of repair, we have a contracted service agreement with the elevator company, and they would have sent a licensed technician that same day, or worst case the next day, to complete the repair. The key piece to all of this though, is that we are notified. We are sorry that this caused some frustration and inconvenience, especially knowing how important that feature was for your group. We will look back at our communications with you to see if there is anything we could have done differently, or better, and we will continue to do everything we can to eliminate these gaps in communication, to our guests benefit. We are glad to hear that the home was beautiful, and that it worked well for your family and provided the space that you needed. We also appreciate your feedback on your experience. Our team was notified of the power outage in the bunk room at 6:31pm on May 26th. Your Property Manager (PM) went to the home that evening to troubleshoot the issue personally. They worked through the action items defined for their scope, and when that did not resolve the issue, they engaged our Chief Engineer who engage remotely via our software to try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with the onsite PM. This did not resolve the issue either, so a licensed electrician was scheduled first thing the following morning, which did resolve the issue by 12pm. Regarding the pool, our licensed pool company performs their scheduled service, twice per week, on Tuesday and Friday. This schedule is included in the guidebook and is always reviewed during the in-home tour that our property managers provide all our guests at the time of check in. We received service reports for both visits during your stay, which included documentations of the items completed during the service, chemical levels of the pool, and before service & after service photos to document the difference, and everything was detailed correctly with no discrepancies. Our camera footage confirms the time stamp of their reports as well, so service was provided. Their arrival time is typically between 7-8am, and the service lasts approximately 30 minutes, and that may be why you did not see them on site. To be honest - that is our goal, we don’t want them to interfere with your vacation. If the pool was cloudy, that can occur between services based on weather (rain), wind (landscaping debris enters the pool), or heavy use and/or the application of suntan lotions. Our maintenance team is always just a call away, and they can treat the pool if applicable, but we do rely on the guest to notify us of that need during their stay. We do not show that occurred, this review was our notification, so please let us know next time, and we are happy to supplement the 2x/week pool service so you all can keep having fun! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and we wish you safe travels home.
